Atletico Madrid are really performing well and arsenal on the other hand are getting really slow, it is now difficult to tell if they are focused more on winning the premier league trophy or champions league, their attention has to be on a particular one because they cannot really win both. I'm not really sure if they can atl Madrid with the way they are performing currently.
Arsenal F.C. have to choose just one competition. Big clubs are built to compete on multiple fronts, and they actually have the squad depth to push for both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League yes you are right about their current form and it has dipped a bit, and that makes teams like Atletico Madrid look more convincing right now. Atletico are very disciplined and hard to break down, so if Arsenal do not improve their tempo and sharpness, it could be a tough matchup for them.
With the current situation that I see Arsenal I don't think that they can compete in multiple competitions. In terms of squad dept Arsenal doesn't have it. Arsenal rely only in one team to execute their matches and anything their senior team gets stressed out due to playing too much matches you begin to see Arsenal dropping points points and and giving out results that is not pleasing to their fans.
It obvious that Arsenal is a team that is lacking on squad dept to compete on different competitions. Focusing on one competition should be the best for them
