For someone who was retired for several years and only had months to train, Pacquiao gave a great show. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be a draw, I thought it would either be a win or a loss for Pacquiao (I already saw people saying Pacquiao won the fight tho ahaha). Also, you can see in this fight how age has caught up to Pacquiao.
Pacquiao wasnt so dominant, but it was clear he was ahead on the scorecards that he landed the cleaner and heavier shots on Barrios. Still, a draw is fine I guess. It just means Pacmans effort wasnt enough to take the belt this time. In the rematch, which Barrios already said hes open to, I hope Manny goes all out from start to finish. Now that hes no longer busy with politics, he can really focus on the fight.
He was ahead on at least two or three major article sites by two or three points. This is a robbery, but Im glad that Pacquiao was not hurt, and he earned a whopping 1.8 billion pesos, which is equivalent to the dollar amount he earned from PPV and guaranteed income. Mario Barrios is not a spectacular fighter, but he is still a formidable fighter to deal with, and Pacquiao has proven that he still has what it takes to go toe to toe against young fighters. He deserves to regain his rank due to this performance. He deserves to have another fight or even a rematch since the fight ended in a draw.
Pacquioa Knew he won the fight but humbly accept the decision of the judges. If you watch the fight, it was clear that PACMAN won 8 out of 12 rounds. It was another Champ of the people but not crowned. MP said pacman will still fight!
