Today, both Bayern and Leipzig put on a goal show. When Bayern scored 5 goals, Leipzig said we would score 6. Kane scored a hat-trick for Bayern, while Diomande scored a hat-trick for Leipzig. Baumgartner also carried his team with goals and assists. These 2 teams are slowly pulling away from the rest. If Dortmund can't beat Hoffenheim tomorrow, the top 2 will have pulled away from the rest. Will Leipzig challenge Bayern? I don't think so. But it's nice to see some competition, even if it's minimal.
Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig performed fantastically this week. Both won by very large margins against their opponents. Bayern Munich defeated the home team VfB Stuttgart with a very decisive score of 5-0. In this match, Harry Kane showed a very good performance coming off the bench to replace Nicholas Jackson; Harry Kane was able to score a hat-trick at the 66th, 82nd, and 88th minutes. In 22 minutes, he created a hat-trick, or 28 minutes after being substituted in at the 60th minute, Harry Kane managed to score 3 goals.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig was able to defeat a fairly strong team, Eintracht Frankfurt, with a very large score of 6-0, with one of their players also scoring a hat-trick, Yan Diomande, a player from Ivory Coast.
Leipzig can sometimes be a strange team, seems like six goals is the way to go for them... They won 6-0 against Augsburg, now 6-0 against Frankfurt while they lost 6-0 against Bayern. It's not like that very often, too bad they gave that first game of the season so easily away. Otherwise there would be some more tension in the Bundesliga, but Bayern can literally celebrate the title by now. I definitely doubt Bayern will lose a handful of games and Leipzig is hardly going to win them all.
Leipzig is in really good form this season. Of course, it's safe to say their title bid is still mathematically sound, but unfortunately, no German team has a real chance against a team as impressive as Bayern Munich. Bayern are playing exceptionally well and haven't shown any weaknesses this year. They've only suffered one defeat in the Champions League and are unbeaten all season. The Bundesliga is a very easy place for them to play, as there are several teams close to them, and they tear even them apart when they play. Bayern Munich is one of the strongest teams not only in Germany but in Europe. Their current predicament isn't surprising. They'll likely be crowned champions just a few weeks before the end of the season.
