Re: Be goal minded
in Economics
Do you, in everything that you do, have goals in mind that you keep to make you motivated? Or do you just do anything generally with no specific plans? For example, when you save up money do you have something in mind that you specifically save up for? A new phone or a car? Or do you just set aside money with no actual plans of anything? Do you find yourself motivated even with no specific plans in mind?
Of course we must have a goal for whatever we do because if there is no goal, why are we doing it all and it might also affect performance, enthusiasm and motivation to succeed. Successful people have a plan for their lives and they are much more capable of planning things based on the precision of whatever they do. When I have the desire to buy a car, I have to plan beforehand where to get the money so that the desire to buy a car is not just a manifestation of a dream but has a definite plan.

A good life can be planned and we can start based on the abilities and skills we have and as far as I can tell everything needs to be prepared. There is no success that we achieve easily so without planning and preparation we will not be able to achieve it. Just look at how most rich people are able to achieve greater wealth and what they do so that we have the same motivation to start.

Re: Should a player be ban for winning so much
in Gambling discussion
a gambler who is not cheating but winning with his powers of reading the game that gambler should not be banned, I know that before a gambler can be banned because of winning that gambler must have been winning very high amount against the betting platform. As I researched this I noticed that the ban is not enforced because some banned gamblers use another person who gambles big to place bet for them, big players like Floyd Mayweather has been allegedly used by banned gamblers.
I'm sure he was blocked not for the reason of being able to achieve big wins due to his ability to read the game in gambling activities because every casino does not limit the amount of this limit and if this happens, maybe the casino is clearly a fraud. Any Casino that has a good reputation will not block people without a clear reason unless the user himself makes a mistake that does not comply with the terms and conditions implemented by the casino.

They should not be prohibited if the winnings are obtained fairly and do not violate casino rules and that is why a gambler before deciding to choose a casino must first read the terms and conditions so that they do not feel disadvantaged when involved in it.

Re: When emergency hits. Will you sell your bitcoin or borrow and keep holding?
in Bitcoin Discussion
Hello everybody, I have one big question to ask that I think many people face which is, we always hear people say here and on other platforms you should never sell your bitcoin and HODL it forever but I dont think it is applicable in real life because god forbid an emergency can come up with you like ones child can get critically sick and the hospital bills are too high or you lose your main job and does not know what and where next to go for a rescue. At that kind of moment, what would you really do? Are you going to sell some part of your bitcoin to solve the problem or are you going to borrow from the bank or friends and keep your bitcoin because the price will go up later?
That's why it's not a good move to invest all your money in bitcoin because you never know when something happens and we need money suddenly for some reason. You can carry out investment activities based on accuracy, for example making a certain percentage of funds in preparation for life. You can divide it according to your abilities, such as investment, savings or emergency funds so that when you suddenly need money, your investment in Bitcoin is not disturbed and you don't have problems.

Just imagine when you suddenly need money and the price of bitcoin is below the average purchase price, do you think selling bitcoin in that condition is a good decision? This is the reason you need to have a clear plan in living your life because we are not only talking about investment, but there are life processes that also need to be prepared well.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026

I think Konate really want to play for Real Madrid, he keep making mistake in Liverpool, it's the same thing like the way TAA did before he departed to Real Madrid.

Liverpool were too confident they will win the match after they score 2 goals, we can the difference about the way they play, after they got conceded with 2 goals, then they try to score a goal.
I don't think this is on purpose because the current moral condition of Liverpool players is quite problematic because they continue to experience pressure due to match results which always end badly so that some players continue to make mistakes without realizing it, which can affect their mentality. This is different from TAA who openly said he wanted to move to Real Madrid and that's why Liverpool fans were so angry when he saw him because they thought TAA didn't respect the club.

Liverpool's draw against Leeds was a bit more embarrassing because they conceded first even though in the end they managed to equalize. I think Liverpool's defense has been quite problematic so far even though several players in certain positions have not been able to perform better so they continue to achieve bad results without any real changes made by the coach.

Re: What are the ways to control emotions during trading ?
in Trading Discussion
I follow some basics during trading . Like I make plans while I first start trading. When to enter, when to exit, what If price hits SL? I do not like to take losses and that is why I usually make small profits. if I see price increases 3%, I sale always.
The problem I face is , I open orders frequently and take profits in very short time. But if I see price increase   after I sale , I feel like stupid. I don't know how to control this . Help me ?
What you have to understand is that trading cannot always provide profits and there is no way to get involved in trading by consistently making profits. The plan you carry out in trading may be good and you must carry it out consistently and with discipline so that the growth of the trading you carry out will continue to grow. Profit and loss percentages must be made clearer so that you can survive in trading and for me small profits are not a problem, but they must be adjusted so that the capital you have does not run out when liquidation occurs and that is why you need to create a stop loss.

Usually I apply a profit percentage of 50% and a loss of 30% so that this can adjust our involvement in trading. Don't imagine that the price could rise so that it will make us change the take profit or stop loss pattern and if this is done repeatedly, the trading plan we made previously will not work correctly. Small profits obtained consistently are much better than getting big wins but not having a clear plan for trading.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
in Gambling discussion
Clearly, Milan won't give up under any circumstances at this point, especially since they currently sit atop the table with a points tally similar to Napoli's. This means Milan will continue to compete fiercely at the top of the table against any opponent, and when Milan meets Torino, I'm also quite confident Milan will try to win to maintain their position at the top. Because this season, competition in Serie A is starting to look very tight, especially for the four teams currently in the top four.
If Napoli don't want to take over first place in the standings, then Milan must appear consistent in all matches because getting unsatisfactory results such as a draw will make them drop back to second place or could even slip to fifth place if the team in the top four wins. Competition in Serie A is much more competitive this season because several teams in the top five of the standings have a point difference that is so close that the slightest mistake can result in a change of position in the standings.

Facing Torino this week should not be too difficult for Milan because the team is not in good condition and they have not even achieved a single win in the previous five matches so it will make it much easier for Milan to win the match in order to maintain the opportunity to remain in first place in the standings.

Since this season we have been seeing how the Gunners have been handling games at least better than they did last season and they don't look like leaving that number 1 position for any club as it stands, if it was by this time last season they would have been losing point and also dropping to number 3 on the log but this time is different. Facing a team that have been managing to be in form today would be another tough challenge for Arsenal and I don't think Aston Villa will take any chances in as much as they are still trying to maintain that position. Can Aston Villa stop the Gunners from getting all 3pt and extending their lead?
Arsenal have a habit of losing their best form towards the end of the season, having consistently performed well in the first half of the season for the past three seasons. This is a problem Arteta must address if they want to win the Premier League. Repeating the same results will make it difficult for Arsenal to win the title, even though several teams, such as Liverpool and Manchester City, have not performed as consistently as in previous seasons. Arsenal's performance has indeed improved significantly this season, as I see them performing significantly better than in previous seasons.

Facing Aston Villa this week will be no easy feat for Arsenal, as the team is on a positive run. Aston Villa themselves are unbeaten in their previous six matches in all competitions, so the Aston Villa players are motivated to get a better result in this match, and I predict a draw because Arsenal themselves will also play a little more carefully so as not to lose full points.

Re: Older people are the most vulnerable to crypto scams
in Beginners & Help
This is one solid reason why I don't want to introduce crypto to my father or any older person in my family, I believe they are already used to the old way of living on salary or jobs, it must have mastered them a lot that crypto related investment or online investment will put them under stresss.
They have difficulty adapting to advanced technology, making them quite susceptible to fraud. In fact, I often see people their age experiencing fraud in unusual ways. Banks receive complaints from people their age who have been defrauded and had their accounts drained. The methods of fraud may vary, but the main problem is their inability to prevent it.

Conversely with crypto, it's much easier for them to be scammed if they don't have proper knowledge, so introducing this system to them can sometimes be very difficult. I also never introduced Bitcoin to my parents because I believe they wouldn't understand the existing security system, making it inappropriate.

Re: Mistakes to Avoid When Starting a Business
in Economics
Be careful with influencers, they may not be bringing as much as people think they do. When we had a business, we hired an influencer of the topic to come in and make a post on instagram, this person had 200k following on instagram, and had thousands liking it as well.

Maybe it wasn't influencers fault, I am not saying they are bad or anything, I am just saying it may not be helpful to you, because it was not helpful to us, it didn't create even a single sale out of that. It's a business that no longer exists, so maybe the fault was that we just had a bad business, so maybe influencer isn't the responsible one for zero sales. I am just saying before any of that marketing, make sure people will want your business.
It's possible that some cases don't work out with influencers, but I've personally felt the impact of their advertising on their social media. In short, I own a clothing store, and the several partnerships I've had with them have had a much better impact because they've reached consumers even though they live far from where I live. To market using influencers, you also need to understand their follower base to ensure it aligns with your business. I usually ask them what age group and gender their followers are based in.

Since I run a clothing store for teenagers, I also need to understand the level of influence these influencers have within that group. To generate interest in the products we sell, we must build a strong promotional base, and the narrative must be as compelling as possible to entice them to shop or simply visit the store. After that, it will be much easier to attract them to make purchases.

Re: Are we heading toward a cashless future?
in Economics
With digital payments and central bank digital currencies on the rise, will physical money soon disappear?
It's possible that in the future, we will see a decline in the circulation of cash, as many payments have been developed digitally, or even banks themselves have created digital payment systems. People see this as a much better alternative, eliminating the need to carry cash every time they shop or go somewhere. The circulation of cash may not disappear, but it could decline over time due to human nature's preference for convenience.

The future is indeed difficult to predict, but everyone must be able to adapt, especially regarding traditional and digital payment systems. These systems may be built based on the needs of the wider community due to the availability of resources, and we, as humans, are also expected to keep up with current developments, so that adaptation will not be difficult.
