Re: Should a casino allow registration via VPN?
in Gambling discussion
If a casino forbids using VPN and you disobey the rule and then make deposits, are you supposed to blame the casino for your ignorance or take responsibility for the outcome of your disobedience? Some casinos allows the use of VPN, such casino will not block your account and claim your money for themselves but if it's a casino that doesn't allow VPN, the best decision you can make is to play in a casino that allows VPN use.
Simple and short.
No need for long talk, because it is only the stubborn ones or those who claim to be ignorant after avoiding the TOS or even bothering to check and ask questions earlier on, that get trapped and then begin to wail.
If a casino forbids it, why use it?
It is of regulatory concerns of course and should be respected.
They if course see where the funds is coming from and other details also give out your location, so why lie using a VPN?

Re: What is your impression about female gamblers?
in Gambling discussion
Are female gamblers not also humans? They have the right to enjoy the entertainment that gambling has to offer and that's why if you visit a live casino center you would see lots of them and some of them even play better than some males. I have seen those who bet on online platforms too and they experience same thing, same emotions also as the male counterparts, but when it comes to financial management, both can be lousy when it comes to gambling activities and as much as their finances is concerned.
I believe men take bigger risk as compared to the females in gambling and I am not sure females can also brag about having a better financial discipline than the males too.

Re: Do not always believe in exchange market shift notification
in Trading Discussion
Even if they use the results from their professional analysts, it shows that professionals can also be wrong in making predictions and need to reassess the standards of the information they share.
These notifications is not about making trade predictions, they are not actually giving traders trading advice, at least that is how i understand it. These notifications are all about alerting traders on certain things going on in the crypto market. For example, a rise in price of a crypto, or when there is a rise or fall in trading volume, etc.

They are not predictions, i'd call it updates regarding the market condition. But traders should not follow it blindly like i already said, they should scrutinize this information and do their own research before making a decision.
Just as you have said, every trader owes it to themselves to do their own research and use analytics as a research tool to know the right time to enter the market, not a yardstick to trade only when they get such signals.
These notifications are history data of performances of various coins in the market, it does not tell how the direction of the market might be in a few minutes or hours.
The best bet when the market is still dipping is to hold strategically and know when to trade.

Re: i am buying the dip, if you can please do
in Bitcoin Discussion
If buying Bitcoin in this current dip and waiting to sell in a bull season, is the idea, then it is quite a gamble that may not bring reasonable returns, because the bull season might just happen before the weekend. However, buying Bitcoin in this dip through a DCA strategy and holding for almost a decade, waiting for a bull season to sell, is a genius move that would surely bear better returns.
To buy the dip is good advice because Bitcoin must pump again to an ATH whether volatilities abound or not. It is just the way the market is built to survive and reward those who are patient and tactical with its seasons.

Re: Coinbase prediction market
in Gambling discussion
Coinbase would right now be in competition with platforms like Polymarket and Robinhood.
Although they are fully regulated and this means a lot of pressure for Polymarket who are already facing some backlash from most governments of which they operate within their territory.
Let's see how this plays out and possibly maybe gambling platforms would have to upgrade or go out of business if customers prefer Coinbase predictions market over gambling odds.

Re: Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Part II
in Gambling discussion
The last time this duo fought, it was much critized, but this 2026 rematch is going to be something more of a legacy-defining spectacle.
Floyd Mayweather sees only money in this fight and is confident of a win, while Pacquiao has some score to settle after losing the first.
This is what makes this fight interesting and a must watch.
Am definitely betting twice because I can't decide who's going to win.
One ticket for Floyd, the other for Pacquiao.

Re: Today is a historical day for BITCOIN
in Bitcoin Discussion
Well we all love bitcoin but today marks the day how BTC finalized its amazing logo posted by Satoshi. Its been 16years since then but I always get a feeling of joy every time seen a very old message from him.

Am definitely glad I have the opportunity to mark this anniversary for Bitcoin, because besides Pizza day and other competitions that are hosted here to celebrate Bitcoin, none beats the anniversary for the design of the Logo of the world's renowned and top performing crypto currency, of which is Bitcoin.
This logo is a shout out into the future and a trace back from history books on how Bitcoin came to be and it's journey so far.

Re: Advice for someone new to crypto trading?
in Trading Discussion
I have taken the liberty of compiling some of the more basic points to note of which involves the golden rule of surviving, of which is very more important than winning big on day one. You should also do well to invest only what you can afford to lose, always do your own research to avoid some major and minor mistakes that may be very costly.
The use of leverage as you may find out is what you as a newbie trader should also try very much to avoid, learn to use stop losses, learn to use DCA strategy of investment, learn so much and master risk management practices that should also involve minding your security strength.
Above all, FOMO and FUD are major parts of cryptocurrency trading and you must encounter them, so be prepared and avoid them at all cost by not following the crowd to do what they do.

Re: For Parlays, do you prefer fewer games with higher odds?
in Gambling discussion
Games with fewer odds and fewer games for me has more chances of winning than other kinds of games in my opinion, this will keep me in a better position to be stable with my emotions and make the best of decisions, when the games are fewer and with fewer odds, you will have more chances of winning because even the casinos give fewer odds because  they believe it will be easier for such picks to be won so they give it smaller odds, so if you gather a few of it and get small odd and you put some good funds on it and get some better chances of winning.
Fewer games with slightly higher odds are better preferred for me as compared to long-shot parlay with many games because long shot parlays would give the house a better advantage over you the player without knowing.
This therefore makes me agree to the emotional balance that comes with such choice of fewer games and the ease of playing it, because less care is taken so as to focus on other things too.

Re: What does 2:1 means on roulette table
in Gambling discussion

Roulette is very simple to play, I easily knew what those numbers are when I played it without the use of demo, but this is the first time that I noticed  2:1.

What does selecting it means? If you select any of the 3, it means you win if the boule falls on any of the number on the 2:1 column?
I think this number ratio is the mathematical chance you have and it could also be the payout ratio which covers about one third of the table. It could also mean that every $1 you bet could potentially win you double of that, which is about $2 in gain, if you actually win.
Although I don't know much about roulette nor fancy playing it for sport but rather just fun, I had to learn some tricks because I had friends who were interested in it but I really don't fancy it a bit.
