Re: Why Bitcoin no be crypto
in Nigeria (Naija)
You just contradict yourself for this statement wey you make for the thread title. If Bitcoin no be crypto, wetin e be then? I feel say you suppose say Bitcoin dey more unique and set apart from from the other digital coins as nah e still dey make waves since the inception. Many people dey regard Bitcoin as something wey go get expiry date unto say just like some of the coins wey no last, e self go crash but overtime Bitcoin don prove e own superiority over the others.
We get people with differing opinions about Bitcoin but that no mean say we go pay them mind.

Re: Here are some points you could share with a friend about Bitcoin
in Nigeria (Naija)
Your number 1 point dey true about Bitcoin but at the same time, e also dey misleading because newbie go view am in the light of just being able to bring an investor profit and no trace of loss and this situation go fit make them use all their savings invest. For one, e no dey advisable to tell anyone to invest in Bitcoin because person no go dey think of how to see food to chop and come still dey worry for how him dey miss out of Bitcoin investment because e get the way some people go approach this investment of a thing and them go make am look like say you wey never start your journey dey miss out and with how the country don dey, youths dey find anything to being money for their table and when you come imagine such a situation, come start the conversation with "Potential of yielding results", e go sound too attractive and with little information, the person fit lose more than them bargain for so basically, e no dey advisable to pressure anyone about Bitcoin.

Re: 100 Push-Ups Per Day Until Bitcoin Is 100K Challenge

Have been using on this tool a friend gave me for exercise and it helps to build the abs, shoulder and arms etc...it can only be done on a smooth surface. have been using for 2 days now and I think it could be helpful to those who wants a flat tummy too and other things that shows you're working out.
For my push up I added 400 today.

Just curious. How does this work cause it looks like something I should add into my list of things I need to add into my exercise. Workouts for the abs hit different and even though I do situps and mountain climbs, I feel that if I up my game, I'd see faster results. I was able to enter 130 pushups. Focused on squats too and tried deadlifting because I was just too fired up to stop but I didn't go too far before I had to stop.  Grin

Re: war on competition is costly
in Economics
That's business for you. Some business owners feel that in order to remain relevant in the market, a little competition won't hurt and I'm all for competitiveness as it helps to make those who prefer to be average would desire to pick up and do better since they won't want to give up their position in the economy but then again it becomes a disease when some of them take these things too seriously and instead of focusing on growth and expansion, they become hell bent on making the next business go under and won't mind how much expenses that act incurs. Some will call it market strategy of eliminating the competition, but deep down, it has become something else.
At the end of the day, worrying about these things won't change anything because to them, they call the shots and it's not like the consumers have much say in it though.

Re: What happens when the majority of households can't save
in Economics
This is a problem that is faced everywhere and not just in Greece. For me, it's a matter of bad governance and if this issue is rectified, there can be release. When there's bad governance, there's corruption and this would lead to inflation just because these leaders want to meet their insatiable needs and forget that the masses too are entitled to better living. Most people work not cause they just want to put food on their table but so they can settle bills but what happens when these bills are as a result of what the leaders have placed on it's people in form of tax and increased prices of things.
When households can't save, you have a people grossly dependent on credit and instead of growth, there's a stagnancy that affects the country.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26

Kudos to Barcelona for being able to collect all three points away from home and still maintain their lead at the op over Madrid even though it's just a point's difference. Even though they looked out of sorts in the game, they managed to show that they can still pick themselves up from their daze and get into the match and made light work of Elche's defense.
Hansi Flick's Barcelona would be in action on Wednesday when they meet Copenhagen for the last game in the league phase that would enable them be eligible for the next phase, only if things go their way and the other teams who are on 13 points as them don't deliver.

The crown should be given to the King MU. Thanks for MU to play like what i have expected, clean up gameplay, well executed tactical plan, and proper finishing. It's all what i need from them. They could win with bigger margin if Martinez was not doing OG.

Even an away game at emirates looked easy for them as long as they get the right interim to handle the squad. However, i will obviously against the idea to make Carrick as permanent caused by it's often turn to be shite.

Just keep hire him as a caretaker, permanent manager is such a past trend.  Cheesy Cheesy
Honestly, Arsenal's confident game plan was reduced to shit the moment Man UTD found their rhythm. I didn't expect Man UTD to win if I'm being truthful but at the same time it looked as if the Gunners were more than willing to hand them the victory because I can't really understand how you'd make silly mistakes like that just because a goal came in, then not too long after, a snapshot from Dorgu made Arsenal look like they were just hanging by a thread.
With performances like this, it begs the question; are Arsenal mentally and physically ready to win the EPL?

Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1)
in Gambling discussion
Am I the only one who's noticing that PSG are struggling to be that dominating club they used to be as of last season because I watched their game against Auxerre and you could see them struggling to get a goal, wasting chances that normally they should have been clinical about. As it stands they are on top temporarily till Lens play their game and I just hope that they win so they can push PSG down. It's being a while since we heard of another club taking first place other than PSG so I feel this is a welcome competition.
Everyone in France is missing competition. Considering Paris Saint-Germain's recent disappointing results, I can't say this has been an incredible year for them in the French league. If they win against Lens, they'll regain the lead. Also, Paris Saint-Germain is struggling to score goals. It seems like the single-team championship race we're used to in the French league has been interrupted this year. Hopefully, they win against Lens and continue this competition.
It's Marseilles that's playing hosts to Lens and are leading by a goal(scratch that, by two goals)but it's a matter of what happens at the end of the 90 minutes that would determine if PSG would retain their spot on top. It's safe to say that the Ligue 1 is much more interesting now that the light's not shining on PSG alone but there are other clubs sticking their necks out as well.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

You know for a minute there I thought that Inter would sit idly by and watch Pisa drag all three points for themselves. I could tell you that at some point in the game , Chivu's men became clueless and began to play aggressively without results till there was a change that brought Federico Dimarco in and that was what turned the game on its head and a match was highly in Pisa's favor suddenly saw them scrambling for a slice of control. Inter literally dismembered them and showed them how risky it was to play with a team that's on top.
