Re: Trading Term na dapat alam mo
in Pilipinas
Haha actually just observing yung basic charting and trading analysis.

Re: Most Asian countries are lagging behind in legalizing the use of cryptocurrency
in Bitcoin Discussion
Im not sure about other Asian countries how strict they are but definitely theres a lag on our country (Philippines) when it comes to cryptocurrency regulations. Though it being monitored and improved theres still a lot of loop holes to fix and should be consider when it comes to a rules and regulations.

Honestly the progress is slow thats why it keep being late on some progress compared to Western countries that has good standing when it comes to web3 assets and some Laws tied to it.

Re: What will your choice be?
in Bitcoin Discussion
Don't buy a house he said, buy BTC instead.

If you have money that can build you a house but also this money can get you 0.1BTC, which one will you chose to do?

Micheal Saylor is telling people to avoid buying a house right now but instead buy 0.1BTC and hold, so I think this will be a good discussion for today, what do you guys think will be the best decision?

Drop your opinions.

Well its depend on the case of the person. If someone needed a house for their home then likely anyone will go for it. Bitcoin is an asset and a volatile one, surely some will buy it for their extra money. How come they will follow Saylor if they situation badly needed for the house? It seems depend on case of someone. For me If I had extra I go for it but the house is also necessary not an investment but a necessity.

Re: Have you held a short position for months before
in Trading Discussion
I have tried to hold short position for months, something that could have made me some money in the past, but I always noticed that once I make small amount of money, I will close the position.

There was a coin called Rave that increased from $0.02 to $28 recently but it has fallen to $0.6 now within 2 days. I open long position for the coin at $25, it increased to $28 but I did not sell. The coin started to fall yesterday but I sold at $19. It was in my mind to hold the coin longer but I still made the mistake because I made small amount of money from it already.

I know the coin will crash but I still failed when I supposed to be making money.

Is this also happening to you?
When I heard of rave hype I know for a fact that it will go down anytime soon as the rest of major holding like 90% are concentrated with only few users and probably group. They are totally manipulating it without a doubt. Now when Zachxbt posted a bounty and call of binance thats when everything fall off drastically.

I never held a short position for so long maybe the longest was a week when I am using a noncustodial dex but I only did that for major coins like btc eth and sol.

Re: More exchanges have prediction market already
in Gambling discussion
What I know about the MEXC predict market is that it is for long term prediction and not short term. I can not see bitcoin, altcoins, oil prediction from 5 minutes to some days there, but this are available on Polymarket. I can see the one for months there on the exchange. Polymarket is still the best that I have used.
Woah this isnt a suprise anymore knowing mexc they are always doing some copycat feature to more cex that launches one especially if its found on Binance. Before they dont have like some sort of reward hub or launchpool but now they also got that. Meaning this prediction market narrative is on the run already and expected there when Binance announced their new feature live.

Re: Writing an article on responsible gambling – looking for real user experiences
in Gambling discussion
If you’re okay with it, I’d include some of your experiences (with your username).
If not, just say it — no problem at all.

I think hearing real stories can help others a lot more than just “tips”, especially for people who might be in a similar situation right now.

Feel free to share anything you’re comfortable with.

Appreciate it 👍
I think you can try to include some reputable members here who are into gambling for a long time. Personal experience or interview with answers would do. Like the FAQ on your website.

There is something like that done here before but related to forum you can try to do the same but this time about gambling experiences and cases. ( Though I pass on this one since Im not so expert in gambling but just casual player)

Re: Bitcoin ginagamit ng gobyerno ng Dubai for government services.
in Pilipinas
Tingin nyo kung magaling at may kaalaman sa digital currency ang leader natin ay mangyayari ito? Tsaka payag ba kayo na magbayad ng tax gamit ang Bitcoin?
If wala man alam or background ang leader natin sa crypto, its fine as long as his cabinet members and advisers meron and willing siya to listen sa mga feedback and potential na maidudulot neto for the country. Di naman kasi lahat alam ng leader natin and most likely mga politician based sila. Pero tingin ko if si Gloria sa time niya ito siguro binigyan niya ng chance ito dahil isa siyanf economist.

Well andyan naman sila senator Bam Aquino na talagang sumusuporta sa blockchain progress ng bansa natin eh.

Re: What problems had bitcoin investion solved for you till today?
in Bitcoin Discussion
Personally I used to get payment for my freelance work in paypal but there were always cases where clients took the money back by dispute even after I delivered work. What other problems has bitcoin solved for you ?
I guess being used as decentralized payment for services is already a big help or another source of potential payment terms. Bitcoin solves problem with different users or different nations. Maybe some countries uses it as alternative cureency like El Salvador l, or major establishment on the Philippines famoua tourist spot Boracay adopted it for payment on their prime services and foods.

Likely different scenario and utility of bitcoin.

Re: Casinos makes more money not because of house edge.
in Gambling discussion
Many people say casinos make money because of the house edge, and sure that’s true, but I don’t think that’s the full story.

You know why they really win more, it’s because they understand human behavior. I’m pretty sure most of us can relate to that. The moment we lose control of our emotions, we start chasing losses, and that leads to gambling more than we were supposed to. That becomes extra money for them. So in a way, what really reduces their income is when players stay in control.

And another thing, those near misses, like an almost win, or even small winnings, can push people to gamble even more. Casinos understand how people feel. The system is designed with house edge to beat us in the long run, but there’s another side running at the same time, and that’s the psychological side of it, almost like marketing.

In my view, casinos are not just selling games, they are selling emotional traps wrapped in entertainment.
Its likely part true but not totally about it. There are some casino offering 0 house edge but still earn good and has long term position but youre right when you mentioned thay their selling emotional traps. They based their house edge to 0 because they believed they still outrun some users or gamblers in the end. We all know that major users stillnlose of their money at the end of the day and its more casual than some casino with steep house edge percentage.
