Re: Have you been this greedy before several times
in Trading Discussion
Although I see from your posts that you have a lot of experience in trading, unfortunately you lost, and the reason is most likely greed and using multi-asset trading to compensate for the loss, which is a very dangerous method because it depends on increasing the risk and expanding the number of trades.

I don't want to give advice here, but I believe you could have come out with a smaller loss or perhaps a profit if you had closed the losing trade instead of letting it "rot" or if you had set a fixed Stop Loss instead of opening a new trade to compensate for the previous one.

Re: There is also risky of addiction even when gambling for entertainment.
in Gambling discussion
There are hundreds of discussions about addiction and the need for responsibility and self-control, yet I don't expect anything to change. Everyone knows this, yet they still fall into addiction because controlling oneself and one's emotions is not easy at all.

There are many addictions in life, not just gambling. I tell myself hundreds of times that I will not do this, but I find myself doing it against my will, even though I know it is wrong. This is human nature and most humans are weak and easily led by their emotions and desires.

in العربية (Arabic)

Re: All Eyes Are on Hormuz, are we missing energy infrastructure breakdown ?

It’s foolish to deny that this meeting is necessary for only one party!
Trump has a real problem with Iran-the quick special military operation didn’t work out, and there are plenty of issues, but Trump needs to rein in or replace the Iranian junta regime.
China needs the Middle East, and Iran was yet another "obedient appendage" through which China could reap not only economic but also geopolitical benefits in the region. Now the bargaining and exchange of "gifts" will begin. The U.S. will make concessions in some areas, and in response, China will make concessions in others. But most likely, they will "pay" for their agreements with entire countries and regions. These are already matters of geopolitics, not "local interests".
You are absolutely right, the great powers agree at the expense of the smaller dependent states and divide interests, spheres of influence, and interests regardless of the regional states.

There are many outstanding issues between the United States and China that they can negotiate, such as Taiwan, tariffs, and Iran. It is certain that the United States and China will reach a mutually acceptable settlement at the expense of Taiwan and Iran.

Re: Trump is considering a new military attack again
in Economics
Trump is now visiting China, and since China is considered the biggest loser from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz because it relies heavily on Middle Eastern oil, I think China will seek to reach a middle ground between the conflicting parties.

Trump was very friendly during his visit to China and showed great friendliness towards Chinese President Xi Jinping, describing him as a "friend" and a "great leader" and praising relations between the two countries. I think that China may be trying to use the friendly visit to push for a peaceful solution between the United States and Iran.

Re: Usyk VS Verhoeven Pyramids in Giza May 23 Unified Heavyweight title
in Gambling discussion
Yes, I know punching behind the neck or back of the head isn't allowed and that's for safety reason. However, do you know that boxers are licensed to kill in the ring? Yeah, they're and that's why boxers don't get arrested when their opponents die in the ring as a result of a fight.
This statement is not legally accurate but it is partially true because in fact participants sign legal waivers stating that the boxer accepts the risks including serious injury or death so the boxer is not considered a murderer if his opponent dies within the rules. But we cannot say that the law gives him a “license to kill”...

It is not a “license to kill” but rather an exemption from criminal liability as long as the death occurred within the framework of legal competition and under referee supervision.

Re: DCA is boring, and that’s exactly why most people ignore it
in Bitcoin Discussion
DCA strategy may indeed be boring because it requires patience and time, but it is still the best strategy, but it is not as easy as some people think. An investor with this strategy must be patient and steadfast in the strategy regardless of anything.

Some people cannot be patient and get bored quickly and start selling at any slight rise or start to fear when the price falls. The best way to be patient is to stay away from monitoring prices until the goal is achieved.

Re: Newbie trading experience
in Trading Discussion
But despite that, I know this feeling because it sometimes happens even in spot trading where I buy a coin and it starts to go down, so I sell it immediately to avoid further losses but after that the trend suddenly changes and the coin goes up significantly and I wish I had waited a little longer.
Yeah, both share the same market but they only have different rules. Spot trading is less strict. This is why some don't use a stop loss on it due to what you said there that market can shift immediately (so as the tide can turn for them traders). It also depend on the coin though. If you are dealing with foreign coins, then you are doing a good job there already of cutting a loss.
Yes that's right. For me, I don't use a stop loss order or I rarely use it. The good thing about spot trading is that you can hold onto a coin whose price is falling in the long term until it rises. You can also use DCA for a coin where you buy whenever its price falls.

Unlike futures where your position can be liquidated quickly without you having a choice.

Re: Privacy almost looking abnormal online.
in Gambling discussion
Yes, I agree with you that governments are the ones who cultivate these concepts. For me, if bad casinos mean casinos without KYC, then that would be my favorite. I don't care whether a casino is licensed or not as much as I care whether it requires KYC.

Personally, I prefer to register at an unlicensed casino without KYC over a licensed casino that requires KYC. For me, privacy is more important than licensing and more important than the rest of the features.
They are not always right and usually they always call the casino as bad or illegal if they didn't have license on their jurisdictions. But if people are familiar with the reputation of the casino especially if they operate here for long time without giving any issue to their gamblers, we can say that those statement release by government is a lie and they have hidden agenda on their negative statements.

Personally if I know the casino is really a reputable one and they have solid reputation also great feedback from the community here. I provably continue to gamble in their casino and will ignore those recommendations also warnings release by the government.
Yes, that's right. The government is concerned with keeping everything under its control, and therefore they do not hesitate to lie or mislead in order to keep everyone under their control, and they force people to use the services that are completely under their control.

As you mentioned, trust in a casino is the most important thing, regardless of whether it is licensed or not, or whether it is subject to government standards or not. Trust comes based on the long subjective experience of the user, apart from government statements.
