Re: 🏈🐶 Nutildah's NFL Upset of the Week Competition 🏈🐶
in Gambling discussion
There is one underdog I really like for Week 13 and that is the Steelers to upset the Bills

Wrong again, but thats OK because these are upsets. I don't have a whole lot of time to go into it this week but I like the Chargers to beat the Eagles at home. Just wanted to get it down for the record.

Re: NFL Weekly 3: pick 3 teams most likely to cover the spread each week
in Gambling discussion
I really like the Cowboys to cover +3.5 (-110) today against the Lions, so I'll be taking them as my first of 3 picks.
...
This is probably the first time I've ever picked or rooted for the Cowboys in a long time, should be a fun game.

OK so that was a total bust, lol. Teach me to pick the Cowboys.

Tomorrow there's a lot of interesting games going on, but my remaining 2 picks aren't any of those games. Instead I'm taking Bucs -8.5 (-105) over the Saints and the Chargers +2.5 (-110) who are playing the Eagles at home.

It occurred to me there's no real reason to go into detail about my thought process if I keep getting my picks wrong. But basically Buccaneers really need this game to help clinch a playoff spot and the Chargers have been on a hot streak, beating the Eagles in their last 3 of 4 matchups.

Sir, it is totally up to you; you have DT power to ruin my reputation, but power is never permanent in this world.

I don't do it because I have the power, I do it because its the right thing to do.

In reality, he copied my application from roobet campaign wrongly, but you hide that part.
naim027 already explained how he wrongly copied my application and posted.

It strikes me as much of a bullshit argument now as it did back then. Why would he copy your application when it is several posts apart, and why would he change the name but not the BTC address? But OK in the interest of accuracy I will reword the trust.

And my account is not purchased.

Its not your account -- you got it from someone else. You are pretending to be somebody your not.

Let me check and verify the accusation.

Honestly it doesn't matter if you are naim027 or not, your account is purchased and I'm not removing the red tag.

Signature impressions for the service/product is the only point... I just have a hard time believing that people read an utter shitpost like the one above and then think to themselves "oh this casino being adverised in their signature looks interesting." Maybe that's exactly what happens though. IDK.

I thought it gives them an SEO boost if there is a bunch of forum posts linking to their casinos, even if those links appear under a dogshit of a post. Which ironically is getting killed anyway by search engines pushing their AI summaries.

It used to but not as much in the last couple of years as now its being filtered by Google as spam, apparently.

The below info is an AI-generated summary but other sources I read pretty much say the same thing:

Forum signatures rarely provide strong direct SEO (PageRank) today and can harm a site if used spammy or over-optimized. When used selectivelyas part of authentic participation on relevant, quality forumsthey can be a low-cost source of referral traffic, brand exposure, and occasional natural links without significant SEO risk.

Google itself seems to be attempting to emulate a more human approach in determining its rankings to discourage SEO manipulation, which sounds good for us, in theory. It would be nice to be able to demonstrate that hiring spammers actually damages SEO.

Sorry guys and gals, I've been dealing with some tough stuff IRL, so haven't really been able to participate here or anywhere online for quite a while. Enjoy the easy wins!

Sorry to hear about that. Life can deliver some kicks to the balls sometimes and IRL is near infinitely more important than anything that goes on in cyberspace, so we understand. Hope you'll be ready to join us again by next season.

I propose a new category of spam/shitposts for immediate deletion: posts written with zero intention of anyone ever reading them. How do we determine such a post? Well if people who actually read posts - like many of the people commenting in this thread - come across it and the post is so bad it makes you want to put the user on ignore rather than attempt to decipher what is being said, that's a good indicator.

Here's an example pulled at random:

in the gambling you have to understand that two things is involved it is neither you lose or you benefit from gambling if you have such a mind you will not bother yourself that much when you lose in gambling so I believe that those people who find it very difficult to forget about their losses in gambling are the ones who think that gambling will give them whatever thing they needed at the moment, so if you are pursuing your losses in gambling that will give you edge to be addicted in gambling so it is better for we to not pursue our losses because it will make us to be more desperate and the gambling than before

No periods, one long, hard-to-read sentence about nothing. Even if the grammar and punctuation was completely fixed, they are still not communicating a single original thought. I will report it and see what happens.

And if no one reads - what's the point?

Signature impressions for the service/product is the only point... I just have a hard time believing that people read an utter shitpost like the one above and then think to themselves "oh this casino being adverised in their signature looks interesting." Maybe that's exactly what happens though. IDK.

Today I found another active account that belongs to naim027:

minairia3 - reg. March 2014

The original owner was from the United States:

Here in California in Silicon Valley when they start a new internet company, the founders are proud to have their names everywhere.  Why is this "Anonymous" person hiding his identity?

The new owner put their location as Kolkata, India on their profile. But I do not believe they are from India -- this is just to throw people off. Wherever they live, its obviously not the US:

I live in a country where bitcoin is banned and not legal yet, so I really admire countries that accept bitcoin and especially El Salvador that made bitcoin the first legal tender.

They seem to be located in Bangladesh:

As a matter of fact, here's a thread they posted in the Bangladesh thread just 2 days ago.

The connection with Naim027 was first noticed by Timelord in 2021:

2 Accounts Connected:

minairia3, naim027,

About 27 hours after applying for a signature campaign, naim027 changed their wallet address from bc1qguayhqyd774w6sg83p7ehexqe3fp3r5ds0a8kv to 3Q24Jvtg2Lr5SyQE4RaCYtNTFxFwY44Sip - naim027 applied to join a full three weeks after minairia3 used that wallet address in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN.

There are literally only twelve posts between naim027's application and when @Hhampuz accepts it (just three hours after naim027 changes their post).  No one in the twelve posts makes mention of the duplicated wallet address.

To simplify what happened:

1. minairia3 applies for the blender.io sig campaign on Nov 2, 2021
2. Naim027 uses the same address to apply for the Roobet campaign on Nov 23, 2021

The story naim027 came up with to defend themselves is illogical and ridiculous, as is most things they do on the forum.

So, is one address connection enough to identify an alt?

Anyways, based on that, You cannot say that I am an alt of someone.

Maybe not. But taking into consideration that naim027 is from Bangladesh strongly increases the chances of the two accounts being owned by the same person. There are probably more connections to be made for anyone interested.

Re: Question about alts: same payout address = automatic tag?
in Reputation
I can only speak for what I do personally, which is look at the context in which the payments were made. For example, based on my experience, if a single transaction is consolidating payments from different accounts, where 2-10 accounts are using the same wallet, the chances these accounts are alts of each other is 99.9%. If it is a one-off transaction from one account to another without any other evidence connecting the accounts, the chances they are alts drops to about 50%.

I wouldn't leave a tag if there is just a 50/50 chance of it being correct. As has been said numerous times, there should be additional supporting evidence: merit transfers, shared social media accounts, shared local sections, shared writing style, etc.

Ultimately its a subjective process but if anyone gets too off-course in an investigation hopefully DT will remind them and try to convince them they're barking up a wrong tree.
