Re: Have you ever been hacked or scammed by someone here?
in Bitcoin Discussion
OK now you want to pay back what you stole from someone in this forums, first for a reason can you use an escrow in this forum, deposits the total amount you want to restitut on the wallet provided by reputable escrow in this forum.

Next step is you sharing some public information about the said member, no doubt that the dots will connect and if the member is active they easily get reached and repayment made back.

Between that, how much have you been able to refund back to your other victims so far?

Re: If you your trade how many days does it take you to recover back?
in Trading Discussion
Let say you are trading with $1k  and you open a long position and the market slipped a bit away from you and you lose around $400, due to emotions you wouldn't want to get liquidated because you don't really know when it should be at your favor.
In most cases, some people wouldn't mind leaving it to continue to know if they could recover but at some level you fit to exit to enable you make another market analysis before you could enter ans possibly that your entry points should be able to make you recover it, at this point you are already losing about $400 and you can't actually tell when you would be that favorable again to make such profits from market. Actually, if it was me I wouldn't fight it neither would enter trade for the day instead I will wait for another good entry.

I want to know, if you lose you how long does it take you to restore back what you have?
Do you keep fighting it immediately to restore it back or will it take you weeks depending on the market setup?
Share your thoughts as this could help those who find themselves in such conditions.
First as a trader, trading with $1000 and losing around $400 within just a slip away shows that you are a greedy trader, because first losing $400 out of your $1000 shows that you must have used leverage that I way above your current portfolio balance and have now extra fund's to service your position which is a dumb thing to do as a trader at least have enough capital to keep your liquidation far and also use moderate leverage amount in your position opening.

The aim of every experienced trader is to make profits and take minimal losses as an exit, such as using the stop loss feature when the market goes against their analysis.

Re: True Bitcoiners love red
in Bitcoin Discussion
One clear thing that separates real Bitcoiners from short-term speculators is that real Bitcoiners enjoy situations where they can accumulate BTC cheaper – a bear market.

If you truly believe in Bitcoin based on its fundamentals, then a cheaper price (ceteris paribus - if its fundamentals have not changed) is a pure blessing for you, even if you are already heavily invested in BTC, because a bear market increases your BTC purchasing power.

"Whether we're talking about socks or stocks, I like buying quality merchandise when it is marked down": (Buffett)

Everyone prefer to buy assets when the market are in red, bitcoin is at a point that those that want to restock their portfolio have the best possible chance right now to do so, and to that extent they are sure to be making alot of progressive positions more than regressive Becassine they are buying in the red spot.

Is far easier to buy Bitcoin at $76k+ than to buy at $120k+ this is because 76k will give you quick positive results in terms of profits, than the person who is buying when the market is already on the increase.

Re: Three Tennessee Men Indicted On Robbery, Kidnapping, And Conspiracy Charges
in Beginners & Help
I’m wondering how these people information got leaked? Did they post about their crypto portfolio on social media? Getting the home addresses would not have been so difficult since people feel super comfortable sharing personal information online.
Often times, we talk a lot about wallet security and storage but I think we need to have more conversations about privacy and keeping your business off social media (which many of us would agree is common sense btw)
We have over-discussed wallet security really, but we made a few statements about the lifestyle of cryptocurrency holders and their privacy, this kind of incident will happen with the help of insider informants, I believe those arrested in this case are not the only ones involved in the robbery, there must be someone close to the victims.

A lot of the time, people fail to understand that lifestyle and a nonchalant attitude towards our crypto assets, boasting about how well and deeply we are into cryptocurrency, expose us to this kind of risk.

I personally act dumb whenever people discuss cryptocurrency in my real life, this has helped me a lot because nobody knows I am into cryptocurrency in my immediate environment, and I don't post on social media too

Re: Is trading more stressful mentally than long term investment?
in Trading Discussion
Trading anxiety is always there, but you as a trader will need to develop thick skin to be able to overcome that anxiety in trading, I used to lose focus on my real-life work whenever I was trading actively.

Although I don't trade the spot market but trade the derivatives market where the risk is higher therefore you need to stay active with the market, what I have developed along the line is to make sure that I only trade on my free days.

Trading is hard so any distractions will definitely put you at risk which may not go well for you and your position.

Re: Casino branding is something else
in Gambling discussion
Stake among other top casinos app and any other app are at owners risk, is very easy for novice to fall to their trap that is why most often time we even advice against using casinos app because is the presence of fake app using the logo and name of known casinos just to operate their scam casinos.

The best thing go do is to visit the casino's website using a browser, I use Chrome most of the time when gambling.

Re: There is also risky of addiction even when gambling for entertainment.
in Gambling discussion
Gambling addiction is more lf illness than it is a habits developed over time, so for that anyone with that physiological disorder can become addicted easily even if they are gambling within every set limits or discipline that they may have put in place before they start gambling.

Those without that addiction disorders can gamble for entertainment spend all the time, and money and yet not get addicted if they don't have that disorder they senses will always play out well to eliminate every tendency that could lead them to addiction.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions

And a new deal with Carrick is happening... There is nothing to be surprised here of course. He has already showed really good things to the board and fans in his limited time.

He deserves at least a one-year contract. They can just observe what he can do in the long term and then decide on offering a longer contract. But probably they will sign for at least 2 years.

Michael Carrick being the interim head coach for Manchester United will still secure the position for the permanent manager for Manchester United with his 5 months experience with them since they signed him in January, I Believe by now the most has been well sure always capability and have a possible intention to sign him since I don't think they have any alternative they have been sighting.

Manchester United management will have done a real check to get the man that is fit for the job, because the club fans are already complaining that ditching out another €100 millions to sign another coach after spending so much previously, Elliot Anderson, Michael Carrick all this guys are the top ranking in the current market.

Manchester United have experienced alot in the past, why they have so much experience and now making the right choice as regards to player's signing in the club.

Re: Exchanges Are Not Buying Coins With the Real Dollar Price Again.
in Nigeria (Naija)
This is not new, it is something that we have been battling with on Bybit for a while now, and the reason that many Bybit users are now looking at other exchanges for they p2p transactions, but what we should know is that when it comes to p2p in Nigeria, the market may be different but buyer's are mostly the same, meaning as you keep diverting from one exchange p2p to the other, that shady buyer's alson migrate there amd they usually start doing same thing ok each exchange make it look that is now normal norms to renegotiate with sellers.

I use the convert feature on exchange to convert my USDT to Naira,  this way you don't have any need to follow third-party buyer, you can just withdraw your funds directly into you bank account, I think p2p is better and friendlier using that approach.
