Re: Inflation is starting to feel real AGAIN everyone
in Economics
It's only really this week that the last oil tankers from before the crisis have arrived at their destination. It's going to start getting a whole lot worse from now as the war drags on. Even if the pointless war were to end tomorrow, Israel has attacked a lot of the Iranian supply chain which means the oil they were sending to places like Asia and China will not start up again quickly. Even other countries like Saudi had to block up their wells because they ran out of storage space, which makes them hard to get going again. All this is going to have the effect of pushing the coats or everything up substantially as the world competes for less resources, with the richest countries usually able to absorb the higher prices more easily as the poorer countries suffer.

Re: 🔥 EarnBet.io | No KYC Casino | 62.5% Rakeback • Highest Rebate 💎
in Gambling

I guess I got my answer... it was "God Mode". It's one of NoLimit's features, and depending on the slot, it can be different. You asked the right question: Can we catch it with normal spins? I had to do some digging, and the answer is hangining in the air... Some AI models say it's possible, but the chances are extremely low.... I can only add that I never saw anyone bragging about it.

With a $2 base bet, these bonuses can be pretty expensive:
...
Damn, that almost $2k price tag is too much. Well, if he did buy that booster, it paid him well in the end.  Grin

I bought only a few God Modes in some other slots... the last time I lost +$1k in 3 seconds...

If slots are volatile, bonus/super bonus/god modes are extremely volatile... And NoLimit slots, along with Hacksaw, can be tricky as hell!

By the way, these days I am having a lot of fun with AvatarUX & Thunderkick...

Have no illusions... slots are crazy, and each of them can be generous, or they can take whatever you have.  Cool

It's crazy to hear that people actually spend such big amounts of god mode, I guess you have waaay deeper pockets than the average person if you can do that. I actually find the most fun from seeing what comes out of each spin but it sounds like god mode is akin to "cheating" as it gives you a higher chance of hitting the top multipliers. I suppose it's a feature that every casino builds in because there are mega rich people out there who will pay extra at any opportunity to get an advantage. Slots with frequent wins are always the best, I've found some that rarely hit a payout but it's bit when they do.

Re: Global Tensions in 2026
in Economics
In 2024, when the war between Iran and Israel broke out, Bitcoin had a downward impact, falling by 7%. And then Bitcoin sales increased, and the price fell. In April 2024, due to the attack on Iran, it fell from $67,000 to $61,000. In March 2026, when the market calmed down, the price of Bitcoin rose to 73.
Do you think Bitcoin will reach $100,000 in 2026?

Each year has its new bad unique set of challenges, this year Trump decided to start an entirely pointless war that has wrought havoc on the world economy - which was entirely predictable. As tends to happen, a political move to cause a distraction has backfired spectacularly and will end up ruining his reputation much worse than what he was trying to hide from (the Epstein files). The stupid thing is it made America much weaker both in military expenditure and soft power when the world is changing. China will be finding leverage from this situation and it has allowed Russia opportunities again because their biggest export is oil - so America is making Russia richer again.

Re: Do you believe in online casino saying "Due to a high volume of withdrawal"..
in Gambling discussion
I just want to know if you also don't believe when you got this message after asking about your withdrawal being delayed..
From casino support: Due to a high volume of withdrawal requests, processing may take longer than usual.

Almost every time I make a withdrawal from not so popular online casino or local online casino, I end up following up my withdrawal. For example, if 20 minutes have passed and I still haven’t received it, I will contact support. You know I would understand if this happens in well-known casinos with a lot of players, since delays can be expected. But man this casino has online few players online like how it can be high volume..

Do you also think this is sometimes just an excuse used by casinos? Like instead of getting your withdrawal quickly, the delay it for you to might tempt you to play your funds again, and we all know what usually happens next you will lost.

I am skeptical about any casino that has not fully automated the withdrawal process, so it does not require manual intervention. The only slight change to that is if you can fairly reliably get withdrawals within 5-10 minutes of the request, but I would be instantly put off using a casino again if I received that sort of message even once. It's often a lazy way of saying that they are understaffed and not willing to pay correctly to make sure the customer always has convenience. There are just too many casinos out there to even bother sticking around at such a place. If they charge any sort of fees at withdrawal, that is another red flag especially if they do not process it near instantly every time.

Re: Drift Data Breach 2026
in Economics
Is everyone that immersed into the strait of Hormuz, Ukraine wars?

Quote
On April 1, 2026, Drift Protocol suffered a $285 million security breach after attackers exploited a 2/5 multisig configuration and used social engineering to gain control. The theft occurred in under 15 minutes, with funds drained through a fraudulent token. The incident revealed critical flaws in governance and key management. Experts are now urging a protocol update to incorporate hardware security modules and professional custody solutions.

A hack subtracting around 285 m Dollar and bitcointalk did not notice?

These days it appears that you need to be talking about billions before it'll make it into the news and we are heading into the world of trillionaires right now. Any time there is a big news event (like the war against Iran) it actually makes perfect sense for hackers to break in because it gets lost in all the other noise and potentially the consequences are not as serious. If you imagine there are nation states like North Korea which have armies of workers trying to break in at all times, it is actually industrial scale attacks of all kinds taking place each day and crypto is the perfect currency for them to target. They can sit on it and sell it off via so many different methods, because it is such convenient liquid cash.

Re: Enforceability of self exclusion in no KYC casinos
in Gambling discussion
As you know, many casinos that deal primarily with crypto don't have any KYC requirements.
But then again, something that has become a standard in the industry, voluntary exclusion, is very hard to become enforced.

But even if you're banned from a no-KYC crypto casino then you can just create a new account, deposit some coin, and start playing instantly...

In the end, the only real escape is trying to cure oneself from addiction. Self exclusion is a very inadequate solution with how the industry works today. I think governments should also invest more on services to counter addiction with all the revenue they get from gambling.

What are your thoughts on this?

If you think about it, a lot of casinos here try to portray themselves as anonymous or at the very least start off that way. If they are truly anonymous then they will never have a way to track or block a user effectively from coming back, even if they did offer some kind of self exclusion. It's potentially a curse of crypto casinos, but we all know that most of them will really ask for KYC type documentation soon enough. You'll never avoid having some casinos that allow addicts back in and even encourage it, as there is great financial incentive for them to keep people spending even if it is reckless. However most of the biggest players eventually have to have responsible gambling setups, like effective self exclusion, if they are sponsoring big football clubs like those in the Premier League - it actually makes them more money to do so.

Re: Can oil still dominate in a renewable world?
in Economics
With global pushes for clean energy and electric vehicles, oil demand seems to be declining. But can oil-producing nations adapt or stay powerful in the green energy era?

It seems a bit of a backwards way to look at things. Oil has always dominated for around a century, however the era of oil is setting but there will be a long horizon before it goes. It is a finite resource after all, so it will inevitably run out or get prohibitively expensive at some point in the future so better to face the challenges of a world without oil right now. There are some nations which run highly effective government programs that invest their oil income heavily for the benefit of the citizens of their country - look at Norway for example. There are others, like some in the Middle East, that definitely invest for the future but spend a lot of money now on unnecessary things, in possibly a misguided effort to diversify because their cultures are so different from what they are hosting.

Re: Is Gambling addiction a silent killer?
in Gambling discussion
I believe gambling addiction is a silent killer. There are no symptoms; you may see a healthy person, but deep within, they are suffering from depression and physical disabilities. They may look happy outside, but deep inside, they are lonely and helpless.

What makes it a silent killer they starts unnoticed until it's accumulated over the years, and all the symptoms appear after so many years of concealing it.

I have read reports of physically healthy people, but once they start gambling, no one notices the changes in their appearance until they suffer from a heart attack and manic depression.

What are the other symptoms that you can think of that will make gambling addiction a silent killer? Let's explore this so we can inform.

Addiction to anything causes instability in people in my experience with the most stable people being those that learn and practice moderation. There's nothing wrong with being passionate about something like your job, which actually consumes a large amount of time in everyones life but is key to supporting yourself (and possibly a family). However gambling for most people is just a little bit of fun that is done quite casually and often rarely. Once you start doing it too much, it gets expensive and can wipe out most peoples bank accounts in a very short time frame. After that is done you are in a constant mental battle trying to justify why you burned up all your money on that for a very insignificant short term reward.

Re: how to retain your employees
in Economics
I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.

At the moment, and maybe it has always been the case, but it appears that employers have a glut of applicants and have an advantage when it comes to hiring. Even with unemployment being at record lows, there are big firing waves occurring in sectors like IT and happening at lots of big business, as they think that AI can do the job of some people. This is suppressing wages in many cases and meaning they can get away with paying less or giving less perks, because people have no choice to accept. Besides that though, every company should foster an atmosphere where people are not afraid to speak up or be disruptive if it means beneficial outcomes for the business - rather than just demanding unquestioning behavior all the time.

Re: Reason why most people under bet and miss out on big wins
in Gambling discussion
Sometimes ago a friend of mine sent me a game to play because his good at prediction, but mind you despite how good he is , we alway lost but just have few wins

On that faithful day , I tried to fund my wallet, but network was terrible, so I had to use the little money in my wallet  to play it , the next morning he called to ask if I played , I said yes but not with reasonable amount because my network was down , so he said it has boom and he didn’t use big amount on that game because he wasn’t sure of his winning ,I was so shocked because winning days are just few ,
Most people have the funds but they like playing with little cash ,, I know it’s okay to bet with what you can afford to lose , but sometimes is better to level up your staking power so that if it is a win, let it be what can help you achieve one or two things , instead winning small always, when the winning comes.
Has anyone experienced such heartbroken situations???

We size bets based on all the information that is available to us at the time, it's usually only in hindsight that we wish that we'd placed $1,000 instead of $10 on that 15x multiplier bet. You could say that it is another part of the gamblers fallacy, that we lie to ourselves and think our successes are much greater than they really are. You are much more likely to lose many 15x multiplier bets for example than you'd win them. So if you kept doing that size of bet, you might get lucky once - but fail the next 29 times you attempt it, yet we always get hung up on the few victories. If you want to be a steady and casual gambler, then quite simply stop trying to get rich from it, just treat it as a fun game that rewards you occasionally with money if you pick right.
