Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread
in Gambling discussion
It was very sad to watch Wolfsburg relegated from the Bundesliga, their performance was poor since the start of the season. It were not for the red card they received in the first half they wouldn?t have been relegated because they were better than Paderborn where completed on the pitch. It was their last chance to stay in the league but they bottled it. They have to compete in the Bundesliga two next season, and I doubt them to get back to the Bundesliga next two seasons with this squad.

However, if Wolfsburg had managed to win the first leg at home, they wouldn?t have been relegated as well, but they drew the first leg, while I assumed Paderborn had the home advantage to win the second leg. Despite with the early red card, Wolfsburg managed to maintain the 1-1 for the whole ninety minutes before the extra time and concede the last goal. I hope the management invest in the club next season.

Wolfsburg is a team that deserved to be relegated.
The Bundesliga is a fairly easy league for the top teams and Wolfsburg is one of those. It's strange to see them relegated like this, they really didn't need this, but next year they need to return to the top flight straight away.

Wolfsburg has faced too many problems this season due to their poor performance. Daniel Bauer was given the opportunity to coach Wolfsburg. But a string of poor results led to his dismissal. Dieter Hecking replaced him a few months ago with the goal of addressing Wolfsburg’s performance issues. He was also appointed as Wolfsburg’s coach in an effort to improve the team’s standing in the standings. But he appeared unable too to handle the Wolfsburg squad until through their final crucial match. Wolfsburg must now accept their fate of playing in the second division. And they must reflect on their mistakes so far in order to overcome them next season. I personally believe too that Wolfsburg is a team that deserves to be relegated given their poor performance this season. And I deeply regret seeing Wolfsburg relegated by considering that this team has contributed so much to the world of football, where many famous players over the years have come from the Die Wölfe squad. I hope they show a strong desire to return next year.

Re: If you were given opportunity to invest which would you go for?
in Economics
Few weeks back I was in an argument with some people saying that they value landed properties than investing in digital currencies, but however, both of them are so much important to invest on, now investing in bitcoin doesn't give you any risk provided that you are holding for a long duration, same thing applicable with landed properties when you hold for long term especially the area that has been developed you would see your landed property appreciating so quickly than that of the digital currencies.

Based on the argument, I have believed that bitcoin investment is much worthy than landed properties, although this depends on the area of the landed that could make it to boost so faster than as we may think of. Undeveloped areas does not appreciates as we think so easily and even if you must sell when the profits might added it wouldn't the same as someone who invested on bitcoin because as we know is cyclic and also doubled with the halving has been concluded.

For you reading this post, which of the investment do you think could be better and worthy enough in the next 5 years?

It’s not very practical to invest in real estate, where assets aren’t very liquid. And when we need quick cash by selling a property we own so it takes a long time to actually sell it. Not to mention that we have to market the property to potential buyers who may not necessarily be ready to purchase it right away. On the other hand investing in digital currency is better than investing in real estate. And Bitcoin will be my top choice as an investment with the potential to be valuable in the next five years. And when we need to sell our Bitcoin then we can sell it very quickly as it's very liquid. So I personally would choose to invest in Bitcoin rather than real estate, where it isn’t very liquid. Real estate also doesn’t seem likely to generate significant profits over the next five years due to shifts in market demand. I’ve noticed that many properties have experienced a drastic drop in value even though their locations previously seemed very strategic. And not to mention the existence of monopolistic practices in the real estate sector.

Why You Shouldn’t Put All Your Money into a Single Altcoin
in Altcoin Discussion
Perhaps Altcoins seem very tempting place to make money from their potential price increases. And some people take advantage of their high volatility to trade with leverage. But Altcoins come with a lot of drama that can make you lose money very quickly. You could fall victim to a liquidity exit, where early investors sell off their altcoins causing the price to crash. Various dramas like pump and dump schemes frequently occur with altcoins. Perhaps a specific reason such as a hack might serve as a smooth excuse to deceive. And there have been so many reported incidents like that lately. One of which recently occurred with the altcoin $GUA (Source). So I personally believe that putting all your money into a single altcoin is a wrong decision that could cause you to lose all your money. Diversification might be a way to avoid that risk. But the risk of losing a lot of money can still happen. I think it’s better to put all your money into Bitcoin. Bitcoin has looked so stable lately, where even a 50% drop from its ATH is unlikely to happen. And now Bitcoin has moved far away from that price. What are your thoughts?

Re: Slowly, Bitcoin is separating money from the state!
in Bitcoin Discussion
We're starting to see Bitcoin in its own right separate money from the state, just as the internet separated information from the state.

You would agree with me that prior to the emergence and popularity of the internet, broadcasters, publishers and the government solely controlled the distribution of information. And then the internet emerged and then decentralized the flow of information.

We're starting to see Bitcoin do the same with money. For as long as we can remember, the state controlled; monetary policy, currency issuance and settlement. Then Bitcoin introduced monetary rules outside political control.

Such a revolution is historically unprecedented at a global scale.

As we're starting to see the success of Bitcoin gradually take centre stage, one can confidently say that Bitcoin would be fondly remembered as not just an asset but the birth of monetary decentralization.

Yes, that’s right. Bitcoin is considered the birth of monetary decentralization. And Bitcoin is the most successful digital currency to date compared to others. Bitcoin’s performance has continued to peak as it has become widely known. And mass adoption of Bitcoin has begun to occur not only at the retail level but also at the institutional level making Bitcoin’s performance even more impressive or even more successful. But perhaps the government sees the potential for money to be separated from the state because of Bitcoin. So I personally suspect that the government wants to control Bitcoin by any means necessary. They’ve started imposing regulations on Bitcoin by attempting to bring it back under centralization. And they’re forcing people to comply with requirements so they can always be monitored. I know the government won’t be able to control Bitcoin entirely within its system. But they’ll try to control it in any way they can. They’re rulers who always want to control anything of value. Perhaps they see Bitcoin as gold that they must control and even tax on every transaction. I think they're being so greedy in this context.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026
in Gambling discussion
Guardiola has already left Manchester City, and Maresca has even come in as his replacement, so that has already happened. Arsenal, on the other hand extended Arteta's contract for the long term, it’s understandable that after winning the Premier League they wouldn’t want to lose such a manager, especially considering that Arsenal also reached the Champions League final. Carrick is also staying at Manchester United, he currently has a two-year contract, but I think that if Manchester United continue to play as well as they are playing now, especially considering how they finished this season, then the club will not want to let Carrick go either, because after many unsuccessful attempts, it seems they have finally found a good manager.
Arteta spent years to build up a competitive and winning squad for Arsenal, and they are potentially developed more in coming years. The departure of Pep in Manchester City will help Arsenal having a next comfortable season because likely a strongest competitor for Premier League title will possibly be weaker. The only surprise is if a new head coach of Manchester City can repeat success in a first season like Slot in Liverpool but chance for it is very small.

The other big clubs don't look to be too ready for title competition from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea so Arsenal will need to defend their crown with main challenge from Manchester City. Fortunately, as said Manchester City will have high possibility of becoming weaker in a next season and this increases chance of winning another Premier League title for Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta has been named the Premier League Manager of the Season. Arteta’s hard work has restored a sense of pride to Arsenal marking a major achievement for the club. In previous seasons Arsenal had consistently finished just outside the peak spots. And they need learned a lot from their experiences to improve their performance to achieve it. But now they’ve proven it with a highly satisfying or even incredibly proud victory by finishing first with a massive points total compared to the teams below them. On the other hand I personally believe Arsenal will continue their strong form by competing fiercely in the upcoming Champions League final. And I’m confident they’ll maintain their strong form against PSG. We can’t guarantee an Arsenal victory yet. But they deserve to represent the English league in European competition at the Champions League. Arsenal would be even more impressive if they could win this competition.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

That’s exactly what’s going to happen next season: Como have no European experience and find themselves catapulted into Europe’s top competition. Will they manage to make a good impression? Hmm, I don’t think so – I have my serious doubts!
The same fate befell Bologna two years ago, who didn’t even manage to make it into the top 24 to qualify for the play-offs/round of 16
It doesn't matter if they are unable to qualify from the group stage next season in UCL. The most important thing is that they tried something new and will have the experience to be better in future. I feel it's a big achievement for Como to be in the Champion League next season.

The performance of the Como players cannot be underestimated. They have put on a great show this season by proving that they can finish fourth in the standings and even earn a ticket to the Champions League phase. Their performance this season has even outshone Juventus who are in sixth place. And that was an unexpected result from La Vecchia Signora. However Como’s impressive performance is well-deserving of praise given their strong winning mentality. I personally have no doubt about Como’s performance next season. And I’m sure they’ll have plenty of surprises in store for the other teams. As for the teams that underestimate Como they’ll be in for a big shock when they face defeat against them.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
in Gambling discussion
Barcelona was very likely to end with a defeat, considering that they no longer have objectives, there was nothing more attractive and interesting for them, this was what ultimately led to the defeat, no longer having an objective and the end of the championship and important events.

Barcelona’s defeat was due to a loss of focus in that final match. And they didn’t seem particularly motivated to win. Hansi Flick reportedly said that Barcelona’s defensive concentration wavered due to minor mistakes. He added that Barcelona will return to their best form when the season resumes next year. I personally believe that a loss like the one Barcelona suffered is to be expected given that they had nothing to play for in that final match. We can see similar situations with other teams or even in other countries’ leagues. If that match were a decisive or even crucial one for them they would certainly do their utmost to win it by giving their all.

Today will be Guardiola's last match as Manchester City manager. Therefore, the Citizens must play like they did in their best years to put on a show at the Etihad and give their boss a proper send-off. After winning the Europa League, Aston Villa can already play relaxed, as they have nothing left to prove at the end of the season. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised to see City win by a margin of 2 or 3 goals.

I also think that City should win this game in front of their fans, and it will be a last match for Guardiola, a farewell between Guardiola and the players, so I think they will want to win this match. But for Aston Villa, this is also an important game, because if Aston Villa lose and Liverpool win their match, then due to a better goal difference Liverpool could move above Aston Villa. So I think Aston Villa may try to play for a draw.

Manchester City completely dominated this match against Aston Villa by leading the first half with superior ball possession. They also played with great intensity, where their attacks deep into the opponent’s defensive line. But Aston Villa appeared helpless against Manchester City in the first half as they were unable to penetrate Manchester City’s defense or even failed to create any threatening shots. Man City currently leads the match 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Antoine Semenyo in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute Manchester City nearly scored another goal through a big chance created by Savinho. But that opportunity was not capitalized on as his shot was off-target and even lacked power. The first half will end in just a few minutes. I personally predict that Manchester City will score more goals in the second half. And I’m confident the total number of goals will exceed three. Pep and his team will deliver a strong performance in this last match.

Anybody thinking in the same lines as me, Tottenham Hotspur fail to win their game against Everton, and WestHam registering their final win of the season with a Bowen brace that secures their survival with another season in the EPL.. this one will be an emotional ending for Spurs for sure, but they have been a very terrible team in the last two seasons.

Europa places are equally at a premium, but with Villa winning this could have a different outlook..
Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are playing against stubborn teams, I don't know if Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United would be able to win their match tomorrow. Tottenham Hotspur are already at an advantage of escaping relegation this season, and I believe they won't be relegated to the lower division of English football.
For the love of English football, I honestly want to see Tottenham Hotspur win their game tomorrow and secure safety in the English Premier League. Since I started watching English club football, I've never seen Tottenham get relegated and I don't want it to happen now. West Ham I know will play tomorrow's game with the mindset of getting no other result apart from winning but I doubt they'll win that particular game.

I personally believe that many people doubt Tottenham Hotspur’s performance tonight given their poor form. But I won’t doubt Tottenham at all in this crucial match against Everton. And I’ll be rooting for Tottenham to win. Tottenham’s hard-fought battle will be well worth watching given that they’re highly motivated to secure a victory. As for Everton they don’t seem particularly motivated to fight hard for a win given that they have nothing left to play for. As for West Ham match I’m very doubtful they can beat Leeds given that their poor form in their last three matches. And Leeds are also a strong opponent for West Ham by considering that Leeds eliminated them in the FA Cup Quarterfinals or even West Ham's defeat in their most recent meeting in Round 9 of this Premier League season. On the other hand tonight’s Arsenal match is also very interesting to follow. And the 2.04 odds available are quite attractive for betting on Arsenal to win. Tonight feels like a night that will bring many matches full of surprises, where perhaps it will through dramatics highly entertaining gameplays.

Re: More developers leave Ethereum Foundation?
in Altcoin Discussion
Two more important names left the Ethereum Foundation this week: Carl Beek and Julian Ma. before them, other developers had already left the project in recent months.

part of the community is now questioning if there are internal problems inside Ethereum, especially after ETH’s weak performance this cycle.

some people think this is normal for big projects. others see it as a possible sign of a crisis inside the foundation

In this cycle ETH’s performance does not appear to be weakening in terms of price. And even Ethereum managed to set a new all-time high about nine months ago. The departure of several Ethereum developers was reportedly scheduled well in advance (Source). And there have been no reports of internal issues. I personally believe this is simply a matter of their personal preferences. And the fact that their departures did not happen suddenly indicates that there are no ongoing internal issues. Several speculations regarding the departure of these developers have surfaced. And many have raised concerns about Ethereum’s future sustainability. But I believe these speculations cannot yet be proven to align with reality given that there are no concrete indications to support them. On the other hand I believe that Ethereum Foundation team has already prepared potential replacements for them so that their roadmap can proceed as planned.
