Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026
in Gambling discussion
Look at Cristiano Ronaldo in his current position, he is not only an old player but he has also earned a reputation as one of the highest scorers. Other players of his age will never be able to perform well, but Cristiano Ronaldo still has the speed of a young man and his ball skills are still in good condition.
He is able to pass every player and move towards the goal post, I doubt whether Mohamed Salah will ever be able to perform at such an age. However, Cristiano Ronaldo will play the best role in all aspects, because his speed is still much stronger than that of a young man.

Christiano Ronaldo is a rare breed. That’s why I don’t compare him to anyone else. What he has been able to achieve in the sport is unbelievable, and the fact that he is still racking up goals at his age is incredible. Tbh, before Ronaldo and Messi, I don’t think it was even conceivable that a player would be still active in pro football at 40 plus. They have set a high bar, and if Salah doesn’t get to play at elite level in his forties, it would not take anything from his legacy as one of the greatest in the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a soccer player who never tires of maintaining his physical fitness. His training regimen is extremely consistent allowing him to sustain top-notch performance. He is a player with a strong dedication to maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a professional player. And he seems like a machine or even robot with a champion’s mentality. Every player has actually the same opportunity to achieve the same level of performance as Cristiano Ronaldo. But that opportunity isn’t necessarily something any soccer player can capitalize on. If Mohamed Salah had the same qualities as Cristiano Ronaldo he would likely remain productive even after turning 40 or even maintain top-notch performance. On the other hand James Milner perhaps to be the oldest active soccer player in the Premier League. And he is now 40 years old. But his performance has been declining year by year starting from the period before his move from Liverpool. And his performance at Brighton hasn’t been very good in the past few seasons. I personally believe that age can be a hindrance for a soccer player in delivering top-notch performance. However the decline in a soccer player’s performance due to age can be minimized through consistency and even strong dedication to maintaining both mental and physical fitness allowing them to remain productive as Ronaldo has already proven.

Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024
in Gambling discussion
From what I’ve read in several local news reports, the two teams that seem poised to compete fiercely for Mohamed Salah’s services are Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah. in fact, it’s reported that Al-Ittihad has actually been interested in signing Salah for several seasons now, but he has consistently chosen to stay at Liverpool. Now that M. Salah is reportedly set to leave Liverpool at the end of this season. Al-Ittihad seems to have the best chance of signing him. in fact, Al-Ittihad is said to be preparing a truly fantastic offer.

however, I am certain the competition is not limited to just Al-Ittihad and Al-qadisiyah, as other teams from the SPL will certainly try to sign this player. In fact, Al-nassr and Al-ahli may also be targeting M. Salah.

I think there is a pattern in the Saudi league such that when a particular club develops interest in a player, the rest of the clubs back off, so it is likely to be Al-Ittihad that Mo Salah will move to since they have been interested in the player for so long. Al-Ittihad won the SPL last season but this season they don't have a stable performance so signing a player like Mohamed Salah will be a good move to strengthen the team, boost their performance and bring them to compete with other top teams.
Yes, of course, teams from the Saudi Arabian League will try to compete to recruit M Salah, but in my personal opinion, Al Ittihad is the strongest candidate to get Salah. After all, Al Ittihad has quite large finances because it is funded by public funds, so with that, if they make a very fantastic offer to M Salah, Salah will definitely want to join. Because if we talk about Al Qadisiyah, this team does have quite good finances, but still will not be as good as Al Ittihad.

So with that, in terms of finance, Al Qadisiyah is already inferior to Al Ittihad. Besides, if we talk about other teams like Al Nasr and Al Ahli, honestly, I doubt these teams can bring Salah. Because even in Al Nasr, the forwards are filled with great players and that will definitely make Salah not want to join this team, and the same goes for Al Ahli. So that's why I think Al Ittihad is the team with the strongest potential to bring in Salah.

Al-Ittihad is reportedly targeting Mo Salah for recruitment (Source). And it is highly likely that Al-Ittihad’s long wait will soon come to an end as they have been trying to sign this Egyptian soccer player for quite some time. In the past Mo Salah may not have considered offers from Al-Ittihad because he still played a key role at Liverpool (Source). But now he is set to leave Liverpool. And that gives Al-Ittihad a strong chance of signing him. I personally think that Mo Salah could be a good choice for them as Al-Ittihad’s performance which has been declining this season and even needs to be improved immediately. On the other hand Al-Qadsiah is reportedly set to become Al-Ittihad’s rival in the race to sign Mo Salah. However Al-Qadsiah might fail to secure him because Al-Ittihad has stronger financial resources. Perhaps Al-Ittihad’s total market value can say everything (Source).

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
in Gambling discussion
The chances of Real Madrid making it back to the top of the table are slim, and that fact must be accepted by them. La Liga has 38 games in a season, and they have already played 29 games, which means they only have 9 games left to play. So, how do you think it will be easy for Real Madrid to make up the 4 point gap? It will definitely be hard. Therefore, I think Real Madrid could still end up this season trophyless, just like the previous season.
I don't thinknnot slim yet for Real Madrid oportunity back to the top position standing behind 4 points left and has 9 matches remaining, however Madrid will face Barcelona at few matchdat later if can get three points will make few points left and La Liga tittle race more competitive. Next match after International break out, Real Madrid against Real Mallorca and looks not difficult get three points than Barcelona will face Atletico Madrid.
I don't think difficult for Madrid back to top position if can win the next el clasico match and upcoming match wish Atletico Madrid can sexure three points against Barcelona, many speculation for top standing position of La Liga because 8 matches remaining many points earn by Madrid or Barcelona.

Real Madrid’s chances of returning to the top of the table are still quite high. They still have many matches left to play, where some of which are against weaker teams or even those far below them in the standings. And this should gives Real Madrid a strong chance of reclaiming the top spot in the standings. But Real Madrid shouldn’t underestimate their upcoming matches as the gap between them and Barcelona could widen further. I personally a little worried about Real Madrid’s performance following their match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League as that game might have drained the players’ energy. However I’m confident Real Madrid can overcome this with their vast experience. And they seem to be in the hands of the right coach.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread

Bosnia and Herzegovina really has its work cut out for it. They’re certainly not the favorites against Italy, and Italy is definitely the favorite in this matchup. To be honest, I’d love to see Bosnia and Herzegovina win, but a World Cup without Italy just wouldn’t be the same. A tough match awaits both teams. I hope Edin Dzeko is the one to make it to the World Cup.

I'm so sorry but Bosnia will be on their way home. There's no way they're defeating Italians.

Funny enough, I'm rooting for this Italian side to go on to win the FIFA world cup competition. Weird right?! And completely inconsistent and underdogs for now, yes?! I'm confident they will fo that far.

Italy has actually shown balanced performance in their recent match against Northern Ireland, where they have appeared quite consistent in shoring up their defense. And I personally think that Italy has learned a lot from their mistakes in their previous match against Norway. Italy has given Northern Ireland almost no opportunities to penetrate the heart of their defense with any meaningful threat. As for Bosnia & Herzegovina their defense remains somewhat unconvincing as they’ve been conceding goals frequently lately. And it seems their defense is still easily penetrated by opponents. I’m confident that in the upcoming match Italy will capitalize on Bosnia & Herzegovina’s weak defense to secure a win. And I predict that Italy won’t concede a single goal thanks to their solid defense. On the other hand Gattuso previously stated that he wouldn’t underestimate his opponents. And now he’s saying the same thing about Bosnia noting that Italy needs to be wary of them (Source). I’m confident this is what enabled Italy to beat Northern Ireland. And I’m confident this will lead them to a victory for Italy against Bosnia & Herzegovina next week.

Re: AI-generated NFTs: The next big thing?
in Altcoin Discussion
I know NFTs have been in "winter mode" for quite a while, but as with anything in crypto, there's a chance of a comeback in the long run. We've seen how AI-generated images (often proclaimed as art) have been taking the world by storm.

But what if someone turns AI-generated art into NFTs? Will it become viral? Or will it be just another passing fad like the NFT craze of user-made digital art? Also, what are the legal implications of doing such a thing? Will the person selling AI-generated art for profit be accused of copyright infringement (assuming the AI used copyrighted content)?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I personally never seen a useful use case for NFTs. From the beginning until now NFTs have been nothing more than speculative toys for their owners while those deploying them have merely used them as a way to fleece people out of their money. And so far the NFT hype hasn’t lasted very long it all fizzled out all at once. And that’s what makes me think it’s all just speculation. As for NFT creators who use AI it just seems like there’s no seriousness in the creation process. And such creations aren’t worth looking at because they appear to have no value. As for the legal standpoint using someone else’s artwork for commercial purposes is a clear violation. And as for NFTs generated by AI they may not be copyrighted. But even so the process itself raises questions about the seriousness of the effort to create an NFT or even about its originality. And this will have a negative impact on its charm. I think that’s a bad idea creating NFTs that way plus if there are no use cases inside.

Re: Is This Still Adoption?
in Bitcoin Discussion
If institutional money drives the market…
Is crypto still decentralised in practice?
Or we are watching it slowly move from decentralisation?

Institutional money might be able to move the market. And it might also influence Bitcoin’s price to rise or even fall. But that doesn’t mean they can undermine Bitcoin’s decentralized nature. Bitcoin will always remain decentralized. And even if you’re talking about a Bitcoin ETF which is centralized by nature that is also has nothing conection with Bitcoin’s decentralization. So I personally think that Bitcoin shows no signs of a gradual shift away from decentralization. And I think you need to read a lot about both of these topics so you can distinguish between them. On the other hand Bitcoin adoption has no connection with decentralization. Bitcoin adoption is about the use or even acceptance of Bitcoin regardless of what the goal of each.

I saw how Florian Wirtz performed brilliantly for his country Germany in an international friendly match against Switzerland, he even scored a brace and i began to think that isn't this same player that finds it hard to score when he is playing for his club Liverpool. Since he was signed to Liverpool till now i can't even figure out any outstanding performance he made for his team. Hope he will replicate this impressive performance in the Premier League. Liverpool needs to finish in the top 5 so that they can reach the UCL next season, so they basically need all the support from each player to help them achieve that.

He always performed well when he was at Leverkusen & the German national team, I think Wirtz's lack of shine at Liverpool was due to his still not adapting well to the team. Well, maybe he needs at least 1 more season to fit in with the team. About the spot in UCL next season, I think they will get it by displacing Aston Villa from 4th place.

Wirtz has actually performed quite well at Liverpool. At the start of the season his performance wasn’t particularly impressive. It seemed that in the early stages he still needed to adapt more to work well with his teammates. But around the middle of the season he began to adapt well. He was named MVP in the match against Tottenham in the seventeenth round. And the same goes for his performance in the following match in the eighteenth round, where he was the most valuable player in that game. Since then Wirtz’s performance has consistently improved compared to before. So I personally believe too that Wirtz just needs more time at Liverpool to achieve better chemistry with his teammates. On the other hand Liverpool still has a good chance of securing fourth place in the standings. And I’m confident that within the next five rounds Liverpool will have secured it then Liverpool just needs to protect their points so they aren’t overtaken by the teams below them. Liverpool can definitely do this considering they’re one of the Premier League’s top teams. And they’ll certainly earn a spot in the Champions League next season thanks to the hard work they’ll put in.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
in Gambling discussion
Next week really nice matches are waiting for us! Such as Inter - Roma and Napoli - Milan.  Wink

Inter haven't been able to win for 3 weeks in a row as you know. They need to start winning again if they don't want to push Milan for the league championship. I believe they will finally end this bad series.

I don't think Napoli will lose at home. Their recent form is actually better than Milan as well. They have a 4-win streak active. This is a good chance for Inter to open the gap again in short.

Yes, that’s right. The upcoming Serie A matches are shaping up to be even more exciting given that several teams still have a chance to climb the standings. And Inter’s position at the top of the table could still be overtaken by AC Milan or even Napoli considering that Inter’s performance has seemed to decline in recent weeks as they lost to AC Milan. And they also drew against Atalanta or even drew against Fiorentina in the thirtieth round. The points gap between Inter and the teams below them could narrow if they continue to underperform. And in the next round Inter could very well lose. AS Roma is a strong rival for Inter, where in their last meeting at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza Inter was defeated by AS Roma. So I personally believe that this is what will make the next match an exciting one for us. And the same goes for the Napoli vs AC Milan match which is sure to be a thrilling contest as both teams will give their all to maintain or even seize the top spot.

Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread

PSV’s path to the title this season is becoming increasingly clear. They just need to maintain their form over the next six rounds to win the league title. Just one more win is enough for PSV to secure it. PSV’s momentum was briefly halted by Nijmegen and even against Telstar. But in reality both of those matches were indeed difficult for PSV as Nijmegen had previously defeated PSV in the KNVB Cup semifinals. The same goes for Telstar who had also previously beaten PSV at Philips Stadion in the fourth round of the Eredivisie. However the next few rounds will be easier matches for PSV. PSV will face Utrecht next week, where in their last meeting PSV managed to defeat Utrecht despite playing as the away team. And in the round after that PSV will face Sparta Rotterdam whom they previously defeated 6-1. The same goes for their next match against PEC Zwolle. So I personally believe that PSV will definitely be the champions this season. They will secure the league title with just one more win making their position in the standings impossible for other teams to catch up to. And I’m confident that next week’s match against Utrecht will result in a victory for PSV.

BTW, I am happy for Italy. They had a relatively easy win over Northern Ireland. Now they need to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Path A final on 31st March.

Italy’s victory over Northern Ireland was thanks to excellent teamwork. And that victory was the result of the hard work of the team and even the Italian coach. Gattuso had previously considered the World Cup playoff match to be very important to him. And he realized that Italy must not underestimate Northern Ireland (Source). I personally feel that’s what allowed them to win so easily. But if they had underestimated Northern Ireland they might have struggled to win or even suffered a defeat. Italy statistically dominated the match with 63% ball possession. As for Northern Ireland had very low ball possession compared to Italy. Italy’s solid defense meant they faced few serious threats. And the excellent performance of their front line allowed them to score two goals and even secure the victory. Next Italy will face Bosnia and Herzegovina. And I’m confident Italy can also win easily in this upcoming match. But they must not underestimate their opponents if they want to win just like before.
