Re: I've moved on to other things. It's in good hands with Gavin & everyone- Satoshi
in Bitcoin Discussion
What are your thoughts?
Thought could be, he moved on to other things personal to him.

"I've moved on to other things" was a private message to Mike Hearn which was made public, nobody knows who else he told more things but they never disclose to the public. Even after leaving, I think there was a few people still in reach with Satoshi, I'm sure he moved on to real life business and not to found another project.

Re: Bitcoin Adoption success in Nigeria and the gap to cover
in Nigeria (Naija)
What are we fighting for? I'm totally fine with the level of adoption we've attained in Nigeria. Despite the false knowledge some older people have concerning Bitcoin, it doesn't change the fact that they've known what Bitcoin is, and by when they take their time to study all about Bitcoin, they will understand perfectly how and when to use it.

At the very least, we have millions of people using Bitcoin, our government hasn't banned the use of cryptocurrencies, the government is soft on cryptocurrency regulations, and Nigeria is having the best adoption, it is only a matter of time before it grows bigger.

Re: Why do even the wise lose in Bitcoin investment
in Nigeria (Naija)
~snip
Becoming investment wise is what makes an investor succeed. Investment wise means having good knowledge about Bitcoin, what should do and what to avoid, staying ignorant isn't an excuse because it attracts consequences that might result in losing funds.

The wise cannot lose in Bitcoin, unless you are referring to an aspect outside of Bitcoin. Knowledge is necessary to have, there are rules to every investment, safety and protection, if not followed, it becomes an issue for the investor.

Re: believe me, one last deposit, is a lie!
in Gambling discussion
That one-deposit mindset is like that of someone who wants to recoup his previous losses; he's not satisfied with the outcome and thinks that, after a series of losses, winning will eventually follow.
I experienced this many times, and I stopped doing this because if you're unlucky, you have to call it a day and accept the result. There will be bad days, and there will be good days; you have to accept this reality in gambling.
Truth be told, you are completely correct. If the gambler isn't on a chase for his losses, there won't be any need for one last deposit, only those desperate to recall their deposits or recover with additional profits will do such a thing.

Some gamblers will prefer to learn the hard way than avoid the temptation, I can't deposit twice in a day, after my first funding, that is the end for the day, until next time I choose to use the casino.

Re: 👑🏆👑BITZ.io Cryptocasino| 5 BTC Daily withdrawal | $1.5kk lvl up reward 👑👑
in Gambling
I understand.
However, I believe you have seen casinos that offer deals that sound too good to be true, only to not honour the bonus winnings. I know there are players who are running after bonuses and probably abusing casino promo codes. However, casinos often do not pay out winnings if they were generated from bonuses rather than deposits. So, I think I should appreciate the casino seeing they are giving away free money even if it is for the promotion purposes.
I feel another unfair behavior from a casino is offering giveaway and setting the wagering requirement very high to meet. Bonuses from giveaway are supposed to be set easy for withdrawal, a maximum of X2 wagering for possible withdrawal, anything more may seem.

I understand too, why casinos make wagering a must for bonus giveaway, multiplier wagering contest doesn't drag the same participation compared to when it is a free one, totally fine with wagering but it should be paid after meeting requirements.

in Gambling

I got my $20 from the free raffle, played and turned my balanced upto $40, and made a highest of X71 multiplier on Wild Bounty Showdown, though it was on $0.2 bet, which was my highest multiplier for the night.

My withdrawal was processed swiftly from the casino, I enjoyed my playing time here.

Occasionally I will collect all the forum questions, and post them all here under one FAQ.
Now you can do question/complain, because I'm Nigerian and the site refuses to open.

Rectifying the issue manually won't be easy, many users are having same issues, first start with this.

Made my search on the other campaign, I saw what the team did behind, that trust can actually be extended towards Rooli.

Re: Should There Be Rewards Beyond Merit In The Forum?
in Meta
This leads me to the question: do we need any other form of rewards other than merit?
I don't think theymos is planning any other reward system than the merit system for good contribution, it can be community oriented and organized, just like we have the Bitcointalk Community Award with prizes or we have donation by apogio who rewards constructive posts.
