Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
in Gambling discussion

This is so far the best news Manchester United supporters have read yesterday and I see the level of excitement on the faces of the fans for the signing lol. It is a dream come through for everyone at Manchester United, I hope he lives up to expectations for them next season.
That is a great news for Manchester United. The confidence of the fans is now raised and even that of the coach. No matter what you play, if there is no one to put the ball at the back of the net, you can never win. Mbeumo has so far proven that he can do what Manchester United Hojlung cannot do. I have my fear for Mbeumo, I don't know if Hojlung cannot score or the Manchester United wingers or their style of play does not encourage him to score. If the later is the case, it therefore means that Mbeumo can still enter the same problem that befell Hojlung in the team. I'll however advise Manchester United fans to be calm and anticipate the best
Congratulations to Manchester United.
This signing is indeed a great signing, it's really a big plus in the Manchester United team, at least with the pair of cuhan Bruno and mbeumo Manchester United is kinda confident of having a good result next season cuhan and mbeumo registering 20+ goals last season can actually liberate Manchester United from the kind of poor performance they had last season, but in as much I would still urge amorin to sign another striker to make it solid because putting all the work on these guys alone can still over weigh them and might make them look like a flop.

Re: When you're winning you can't sleep
in Gambling discussion
I can agree to it because I experienced it before.

I have 2 reasons before:
1. It's either I can't sleep because I am excited about how to spend my winnings  Grin
2. Or I can't sleep because my winnings are not enough and I am still willing to play more, bet more, and expect to grow those winnings.

The excitement of winning can not be overly emphasis for anyone who has had such experiences and will testify of course and this excitement can be on imaginary, and I completely agree with you, how funny it can be thinking your head out on what exactly the money will be use for, most times I will smile and decide that I will not touch the winning I mean it should have some rest and the urge of gambling more for more winning will also be there and this in most cases has landed majority of us in to lossing everything we have won and even more.

Re: Saving is not enough
in Economics
Earning money is hard, spending it is easy but investing it to grow it is even more harder. I haven't heard of anyone who got filthy rich by savings, especially in a world where we have fiat currencies that are constantly losing their value due to rising inflation. Investments in real potential assets becomes the only means of escaping the scourge which savings can't be able to because while investment improves the value of our money overtime, savings only makes it static or decline in value.

Not just investment but a successful investment is the only way out of improving the value of our money over time, and most working environment wages and salaries are rarely increase for a long period of time irrespective of the high inflation rate, that is to say it is so unwise to be saving money rather than investing it in to something that can increase the value of such money, one of the reasons why the rich gets more richer and poor getting poorer also has something to do with this investment mindsets, while the rich tend to invest more the poor mindset will be to save,  meaning that saving is not and will never be enough.

Re: what is next for bitcoin?
in Bitcoin Discussion
if we thought $150k this year was unattainable, bitcoin is proving us wrong as it reaches almost half of that value

it makes me think what would be next now that bitcoin is reaching prices never been seen before. will there be a boost of countries finally legalizing bitcoin? i am sure that the good also comes with the bad. as bitcoin becomes extremely profitable, ill intent people will start to come to bitcoin as well and try to fool a lot of bitcoin investors so be careful.

150k and 200k have got to be rifht around the corner. Bitcoin is maturing and has really come a long way in just a few short years. I remember when everyone was still so skeptical about it before it became mainstream and look at us now! The space is growing like crazy
What you are saying is right. Bitcoin has pass the stage where people was seeing it as a scam .as it stands is not just individuals that is going into bitcoin investment, institutions and some government are being to accumulate bitcoin. The growth of $150k to $200k can happen very soon with the way the market is going. However it will be a bad idea to be chasing price, it is only those that have a good knowledge of what bitcoin is that will really enjoy it. I believe even with the price now it is never too late to invest in bitcoin.

We don't have to generalize that Bitcoin has gone past the stage where people was seeing it as a scam because there are still those who don't believe in the potential of Bitcoin regardless of it's success so far and I also believe such skeptical mentality will never stop even with the continuity of time and more achievements, but however that's is on their own part of living in the darkness and falling to accept the light and civilization Bitcoin has brought to man kind, $150k of course can be achievable within this year and it seems realistic.

The price of Bitcoin has risen so far deserves a lot of praise. It has fulfilled our expectations very quickly. No one can say exactly how much its price will increase this year and how high it will reach. If the world situation improves, it will show something more spectacular.

However, it would not be right to make aggressive investments in haste after seeing the rise in price. If you have a long-term attitude, it is better to invest patiently.

The prices of other coins are also increasing along with Bitcoin, since the prices of other coins have not started increasing yet, so I expect it to go further.

Making aggressive investment is not wrong when you invest within your financial ability without over doing it but you are right about investment not to be made out of fomo as a result of the current pump in the market.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025
in Gambling discussion
Mikel Arteta is very happy with the transfer of Noni Madueke from Chelsea to Arsenal this summer for a total £52 million. Madueke’s move was officially announced yesterday and the player will join the others on their pre season tour today. Congratulations to Madueke who is now a gunner, I hope he proves his critics wrong next season!

I hope Madueke does better at Arsenal than he did at Chelsea. Now the next priority has to be signing a striker, because as long as Gyökeres doesn't come, Arsenal's biggest problem from last season, the lack of goals, won't be solved.

There are too many right wingers now. Madueke has arrived, Nwaneri's contract has been renewed, there's Saka and Reiss Nelson is also back from Fulham. One of them will probably have to leave. Saka and Madueke would be the main choices, with Nwaneri getting minutes in rotation over a long season. Nelson could be loaned out again or sold.
An interesting detail is that all three of these right wingers at Arsenal; Madueke, Saka and Nwaneri are English players of Nigerian origin. Smiley
It's kind of a good news tho, but the question is is a winger really Arsenal's problem? Noni madueke might not really give that which is expected of him at Chelsea but you never can tell he might be one of the Arsenal's strong hold, just as the like of cole Palmer Becky then in Manchester City he was a bencher till he gets to the Chelsea team and become a world class so for madueke he might also do the same, but the problem is Arsenal really need a striker more than any other position, because that was the major problems they were having last season so I think Mikel Arteta should focus more on that than this other wing.

Re: Changing strategy to win !
in Gambling discussion
What you meant at saying that even though you are losing you should keeps on gambling to lose right? No, whatever strategy we deployed and it doesn't work well for us it's better we change to another strategies than remaining at the previous one and keep losing. I must say, it's not even always good to keep gambling when you aren't making any winning, it would be better to stop for a duration of time and then come back to gamble again this is just like taking a break from gambling to have a new fresh air of what you have done before maybe when you resumed back you could be that lucky enough to make winning.

Gambling is simple is just depends on how you take gambling that you would see it as something very difficult to handle, take gambling as pleasurable place where you have fun and ease your stress, among that always gambling with what you think you can be able to lose so that even though there is no winning you can at least bear the risk of those funds you had already lose while gambling.

In my experience since i started gambling football to be precisely talking about I have change from one different strategy to another and indo this whenever I feel is necessary and to my own risk tolerance, for instance before now a direct winning and win or draw was my usual and favorite strategy back then but along the line I was no longer getting it clear with winning there after I started considering and over 1.5 goals which gave me another spotlight of winning even though I do lose too most times, while no strategies gives guarantee of winning at some we can change or adjust or strategy or strategies.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
in Gambling discussion
Congratulations to all Manchester United team and the fans, after more than 40 days of signing Mbeumo the deal is finally done today, as a Manchester United fan I have already given up on this deal because Brentford has been asking for more money for letting Mbeumo joining Manchester United, Mbeumo is a good player and I know that his signing is going to help Manchester United in terms of scoring goals and attacking.
And after signing right winger Mbeumo, Manchester United is now focusing on signing a striker. Several of their key strikers, including Rashford, Antony, Sancho, and Garnacho, will be leaving. Previously, Ruben Amorim had also successfully signed Second Striker-Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and also Diego León Left-Back from Cerro Porteño.

Several rumors are linked with some CFs such as Ollie Watkins and Hugo Ekitiké. Who do you think will be the best candidate to suit Ruben Amorim's tactics?

Hopefully this is not just a rumor because honestly until now we have seen too many rumors linking Manchester United with a lot of players but until now only 1 player they have brought in.

I prefer to see some of the transfers of other big clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea or even Arsenal who always work fast but it's different with Manchester United at the moment when they should be moving faster because there must be an overhaul that they do for now after last season they were completely destroyed.

I know they are now also in a financial condition that is not too good but indeed in the end the overhaul is also quite important now considering their condition is not too good of course there must be some things that must be improved especially in terms of players unless indeed they only want the same conditions as last season.

At least the long awaited Manchester United Messiah have finally arrive mbeumo, not bad it's a good news for the Manchester United team and fans at least they won't be expecting a poor performance from him because he's premier League proven with a nice pace and the mentality of a good finisher, by recording 20 premier League goal last season below Mohamed Salah it's not a bad stat for him and I really believe he's gonna make a great impact on the pitch, now I think Manchester United should get a good striker to lessen the stress so he will have the time to give his best, because if it happens to be that they will be expecting all from him, I tell you it will definitely gonna weigh him down and likely to make him look like a flop, so Manchester United should get a striker and a good keeper then the team is good to go.

Re: Have You Ever Felt Like Gambling Was Affecting Your Life Negatively?
in Gambling discussion
Yes definitely it does affect one life negatively, first thing a gambler should know is gambling has nothing to offer it will make you happy for maybe a day and believe me it will keep you sad for the rest of the week it's not your willing but that's just the nature of the game and it does happens gambling have kept Manny home in conflict one way or the other, and if you're known as a gambler you kind of lost about 30% of respect from some certain kind of people, they will see you as an in responsible person, which we feels it doesn't matter.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025
in Gambling discussion
It would be wise for Manchester United to look for another goalkeeper besides Onana, who has frequently made blunders for the team. Moreover, Onana has had a history of injuries like this, so the team needs to have alternative goalkeepers so that Manchester United can be in good shape when the season resumes.
Onana won’t be starting the season due to injury, I was thinking Manchester United will sign a new goalkeeper, and just let Onana go, but they not really ready to sign a new goalkeeper, and making use of Onana by next season might not really be helpful to them, because we all saw how Onana performed last season.

Onanas performance was terrible last season, and I was thinking Manchester United are going to take it serious to sign a new goalkeeper, but as we can see, Manchester United are still satisfied with Onana, they are satisfied with the way he is performing, or maybe they expecting improvement in Onana performance by next season, but am not really expecting anything different from Onana’s previous performance.

If Manchester United still want Onana to stay, then they should just sign another goalkeeper, and Onana should be a backup goalkeeper for Manchester United, they can be using him for Matches that they know won’t be difficult for them, but depending on Onana by next season doesn’t make any sense.
I'm kind of excited for Manchester United new signing mbeumo at least with cuhan Bruno and mbeumo at their front line they are kind of confident of the front and now I will still urge them to get sesko as striker and also a good keeper then for sure they will make top four because I don't really think onana is really a good choice for the goal post, if they fail to get a good keeper for next season they might have been scoring goals while onana will be conceding to cancel it, so it will be best they get another keeper and sell onana totally.

Re: The BTC to $1M thread (12% reached)
in Speculation
Bump.

Bitcoin is so cheap right now. You can get a whole bitcoin for just $0.12M.
You are very correct. Some people still don't understand how cheap bitcoin is maybe because it's hitting series of ATH everyday. Currently at $121k as at the time of this post, it has taken almost the shortest time to rise from the previous $112k to the current price. This is the evidence of what bitcoin still has in the future. If it maintains this flow, even if there's a serious Market correction, there will be possibility of bitcoin hitting $200k by October this year which is fair enough.

The best anyone can engage in right now is to maintain constant buys. Not having to wait for any further dip because this price would someday become the worst point of possible market corrections.
A lot of people still see $121k as "expensive" just because they missed out earlier, but in the grand scheme of things, we’re still early. The momentum BTC is showing right now is a clear sign of where things are heading long-term. Dollar-cost averaging at this stage might turn out to be one of the smartest moves. Waiting for dips in a bullish structure like this can leave many sidelined. History shows the best time to buy was yesterday second best is today.
For sure. A lot of people think that the current price of bitcoin is too high since they miss to enter when they feel the price was low, however if they should look at it very clearly they will get to understand that there is no time that is late to start buying bitcoin. The market movement that we are actually observing now show that long term growth is possible. Waiting for the price to dip at this period will definitely make one to miss out market opportunities. This DCA method is a very good strategy that will not stress one to be waiting for the dips.

Anyone that doesn't see Bitcoin as a long term investment will never agree to the terms of Bitcoin being less expensive even at every peak price, when Bitcoin was as low as $100 people still considered it as being expensive and while waiting for it to come down it kept going up and the same will happen to as many which still feel Bitcoin is too expensive at the current all time high where in future time this current all time high will be considered to ba a dip to be seen again which might not be possible, the best thing is to focus on what value of Bitcoin you can get in to your portfolio for the future purposes without looking at the peak price. Anyone thinking about Bitcoin should at same time think about long term.
