It's difficult to think deeply or research this. In my personal conclusion, someone who can't maintain their gambling winnings is because they're too aggressive and can't control themselves. And the system is never known to favor anyone. However, studying psychology before gambling is crucial to prevent this from happening to us.

So maybe the real edge is not just reading stats, but reading the mindset of other bettors.
Do you think understanding betting psychology can help us win more in the long run, or is it still risky to go against the public too often?
From what I understand about gambling psychology, it doesn't actually affect winning much. The emphasis on psychology in gambling is maintaining a stable heart and mind. This way, the losses we suffer won't be as painful as when we don't understand the psychology. This actually boosts our morale, although it won't affect our win rate in the game. However, it may lead to much better emotional control.

I usually place a few bets a week that I choose in advance. These are usually singles or two-event pairings, and these bets have a very high success rate.
However, during the day, I might decide to place one or two more bets. These are bets I choose during the game day, and I call these junk bets. These are bets I place without in-depth analysis, simply acting on the situation, and the success rate of these bets is frankly low, and sometimes I find it difficult to restrain myself from making such bets, because they seem good to me too.
How does it work for you? Do you feel like if you focused on just a few bets a week, you'd have much better results?

Yes, I focus more on bets that I've thoroughly analyzed. But like you, I also have a desire to continue gambling even after placing a bet. My curiosity seems endless. What I usually do is exit the gambling site immediately and find something else to do. For me, my remaining assets or capital are more important than my curiosity. I'm sure you can overcome your urge to continue gambling.

Question to the participants of the topic - would you agree that instead of KYC there would be a procedure, for example, to confirm identity, without data transfer, for example, through banking applications ? For example, in Ukraine we have an effective model with identification through banking applications, i.e. through BankID identifier. Or through an official application certifying your identity. Again in Ukraine there is a state application Diya, which is some kind of digital passport, and it provides such a function. In this case, the identity is confirmed without transferring photos, videos, copies of documents, etc.
Your idea is interesting. But the government's eyes are everywhere. Is it possible for such a compromise to be accepted? Governments typically don't want the hassle and require accurate data. I understand that as a casino site user, I sometimes consider handing over my data for many reasons, the main one being privacy. Currently, I'm only choosing a few gambling sites and avoiding KYC whenever possible. But I pray that such a compromise exists.

I know many people believe that gambling is a form of entertainment, but how exactly do we treat it as entertainment when in reality, we are spending money on it?
It's actually still reasonable to consider gambling as entertainment and a way to spend money. This happens in almost all entertainment venues. But the question is, is it worth spending money there? Most gambling establishments are actually just a waste of money. They say it's entertainment, but it can also be a sad place if we lose. Sometimes I wonder if they use gambling as entertainment as an escape from the disappointment of their own losses?

Luck favored the woman. But this was only fair. Eventually, they would reconcile and stop fighting. But what was unique was that a wife who was so sure she would lose the lottery was the one who won big. Perhaps her husband was feeling embarrassed, even though his wife was too. They were both wrong and right at the same time.

Entertainment does, in fact, cost money. That's relatable and natural. It's right to call it entertainment. The problem is, I believe this entertainment is actually a mask for people who gamble. Everyone can say it's for fun, but they'll also be sad, disappointed, and even angry when they lose. That's normal because gambling is a game. The problem is easily solved if you understand which money can be used for daily living and which is free money that can be used for gambling.
