I don't know how y'all keep up with this but I can't figure it out and it has been on my mind for few days now, so I think it's high time we talk about it because I want to hear from your perspectives.
This post ought to be in meta since it's about a forum feature. Anyways one fun fact about me is I'd never put anyone on ignore probably because I believe at some point you might make sense that would deserve some merit but that's just my personal opinion and a lot of people would differ. Considering this if I ever probably put anyone on my ignore list then there's a high chance they're never gonna be leaving there anytime sooner.
I completely agree. I've never used that feature, and I probably never will.
I might just ignore it if he was constantly sending me private messages. Even then, I would more easily report the situation to the moderators for violating the forum rules.
People take things very seriously regarding what is said and done on the internet.
It's true that the best way to deal with a hater is to ignore them. But I don't need to click a button to do that. I can easily ignore them in a natural way.
I understand the reason for that button, and sometimes I can understand why some people use it. Even so, I don't think it makes sense, but that's just my opinion.
