Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2025/26
in Gambling discussion
The next round could sort things out at the top of the table.
We'll have the big game, the Lisbon derby: Benfica vs. Sporting.

If Benfica wins, they can still think about finishing second, and Sporting will hardly have a chance of becoming champions.
If Sporting win, they remain in the title race, increasing the pressure on Porto.
If the game ends in a draw, the standings will likely remain as they are today until the end.

On the other hand, Porto needs to beat Tondela, but it shouldn't be a difficult game, especially since they're playing at home.

For this round I'm going to try to watch as many games as possible to bet on live; betting beforehand isn't helping and the teams are missing great chances that I can't see in the pre-game analysis. I'm only going to bet on 1.5 goals in Rio Ave against AVS.

Can someone please explain why Jan Błachowicz is ranked so high?
He didnt won a single fight for years, I think since 2022, he lost from Ulberg, Pereira, and had draw result with Guskov and Ankalaev.
I never understood those UFC rankings and I never liked how they are making changes in them.

Because this is a toothless weight class. There’s no one like Topuira, Khamzat or Islam in this weight class. Even Alex, who has zero wrestling skills, managed to stay at the top for years here. So, this situation isn’t a surprise; it’s a normal outcome...

So true. Light heavyweight was always problematic weight class for UFC, except Bones era. Old school era light heavyweight division was full of big names. Liddell, Couture, Rua, Ortiz, Hendo, Rampage, Silva, Belfort, Evans, Griffin. But then, at some moment all those stars have retired or moved to heavyweight because it was hard to make weight. People always loved to watch huge guys fight, that heavyweight division. There were numerous skilled guys in middleweight. Light heavyweight is division for those who are small for heavy and cant cut to fit in middleweight. Division could be disbanded long time ago if not Bones. LH is like flashes. Old school era was cool. Bones era was cool. Everything between those times is darkness Cheesy

I agree with everything you said, and I'll add that it's the category that generates the most talent for the UFC and consequently brings in the most money by far compared to other categories. Today we have good guys, but without the legends of the past, today's fighters probably wouldn't even be fighting.

The Falcons managed to be the team that stopped Vitality. We can truly say they put on a good performance against Vitality. As a team, they performed better, and MOnesy’s outstanding performance was a major factor in their success. I think the Falcons are the favorites in this tournament. As of now, their potential to win the tournament looks high.

Yes, it was a very good game for the Falcons. But I don't think this shakes Vitality that much. They proved they are very consistent, so I don't believe this mistake will affect them much. I even think it might make them come back stronger in the next game.

O problema muitas vezes é a médio/longo prazo.

Re: ⚽ Brasileirão 2026 - Brazilian Championship Serie A
in Gambling discussion
If you ask any Palmeiras or Corinthians fan about any game, regardless of their position in the standings, they’ll all tell you it’s going to be a really tough match

That's why I avoid betting on the Brazilian league so much. Even though I've been following the league for years, I haven't been able to predict the results well, and I also realized years ago that the biggest obstacle is that I'm not watching all the games in the league. It's no use watching just one game before betting. You need to watch all the teams' games constantly to get to know all the players and their coaches; only then would you perhaps have a better chance of winning.

I also followed many Brazilian betting YouTube channels; they analyzed all the games before each round started, but I didn't like that. Because it took away the part I enjoy most in sports betting, which is when I analyze the games myself, form my own opinion about the possible winner, and place my bet. That's why I stopped following them. But what's funny is that even they liked betting on Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Portuguese league games, and it seemed to me that they had a higher success rate in those European leagues than in the Brazilian league.

I agree with you, but wouldn't that be the same for all championships? Having to analyze the teams and their games to reach a conclusion about what to bet on? The big difference is that in Brazil the teams are much more volatile.

FIFA literally gave Trump a prize just to keep him happy, FIFA has always been in the pocket of Trump and their a puppet, it was always known and it will not change. I would be shocked to see Iran playing, with the way FIFA has been treating USA, I would say that FIFA could literally take Iran out of everything, from every single competition, f Trump just wanted it to.

Basically Trump is acting like he is homelander, and fifa is allowing him to bully anything he wants. This is why I also have a suspicion that USA will go far further than they normally do, lets wait and see, but I would not be shocked to see horrible refereeing on USA games to get them some wins, I doubt FIFA would allow them to be humiliated at their own home.
FIFA has turned down Iran's request to move its games to Mexico. And Mexico President, Claudia Sheinbaum, would be in deep shit if she accepted to host the Iranian games. Another problem would have been what would happen if Iran made it to the quarterfinals, when most games will be played in the US.  This will still cause another problem.

The United States is not a top-class football nation. No matter how much they are favored, they might not make it to the semifinals. I might also be wrong because sports games are unpredictable.

I think that change would be one of the most unlikely things to happen at this World Cup. FIFA, and its president, are totally aligned with the US and Trump. They would only change the venue if it were something extremely urgent.

Anyone still remember Conor McGregor, Proper 12 and Artem Lobov? Remember that Lobov went to court and wanted to a little piece from pie called McGregors Proper 12 share sale. Because he has told that he suggested Conor that brand name. I thought it was impossible to prove that and Lobov would lose in court, however Conor McGregor publicly thanks Artem Lobov after settling $6.5 million lawsuit over Proper No. 12. I am impressed Cheesy

And besides the doubt about how he would prove it, the article says he refused $1 million. So he really had the tools to prove that he helped create the name. It was probably the cheapest thing to do.

G2 easily secured a victory over 3DMAX. After letting a winnable match against Vitality slip through their fingers, they quickly shifted their focus to the next match and gave their opponent little room to play. The entire team put on a strong performance.
RED Canids are facing off against Spirit. Both teams have won their chosen maps, and the score is tied at 1-1. The decider map is currently underway, and Spirit is leading 3-0.
That lower bracket run from Spirit looked shaky, but they quickly turned it up once it was time to clutch up.

The more interesting result today is how Team Falcons somehow snapped Vitality's winning streak. I guess all it takes is another send-off for them to pop off again or maybe Vitality didn't care as much since it was only a seeding match for the semis.  Tongue

I don't think this will really shake them because it didn't mean anything, so to speak, since they're still in camp and will be fighting against NaVi, who are already quite familiar to them. I think this defeat only gives them more motivation.

...

I'm not surprised with that. Let's check out the title odds for these 3 teams also:

  • Porto - 1.08
  • Sporting - 4.70
  • Benfica - 150.0

Yeah, it's really 150 for Benfica.  Cheesy  Porto's remaining fixtures look easier than Sporting. The only team Porto are going to face from top 10 is Alverca who have no goal to achieve now.

Sporting have a missing match in hand of course. But they are going to face Benfica too meanwhile. I still believe Porto will become champions with Farioli this year...

With that many points, and especially given the upcoming games, it’ll be pretty easy to win at 1.08 odds
You just have to ask yourself if it’s worth the risk to win 1.08, hahaha

Bet 10k USD to win 800 USD
Where have you ever seen this odds?

The issue is that it's a 1.08 odd with a high probability of an unstable team playing, one that couldn't hold onto goals against mid-table teams. I understand that they're almost certain to be champions, but Porto hasn't been performing well in these last few games.
